@@gab_gallard Popularity and quality are two different things, and most of the times they are antonyms. If we were to judge by popularity, Dragon Ball Super would be a good anime and trap would be a good musical genre. Goodbounce is mostly rhythmical, that's why it is popular among rhythm games players, but good music needs to have good melody and good harmony.
@@gab_gallard Music is timeless. The same rules that applied centuries ago, still apply now. And it's not like PIU Originals with harmony and melody didn't exist in the past (Moonlight, Chimera, Beethoven Virus, etc.). They also exist now, just listen to Fires of Destiny or Avalanche, and you'll find original tunes with great harmony and melody. Heck, even in K-Pop you can find good harmony and melody (Amor Fati and Storm are two new examples).
