      They were very advanced for their time. They have all independent suspension via wishbones front and rear, the ability to go under water and five forward and reverse gears.

    I had one in the 1970's my only vehicle. Very thirsty though, 15 miles per gallon on average, a lot less if used off road. Torsion bar suspension, 5 speed box with transfer box for reverse in the rear diff , very smooth even off road. Reluctantly sold mine when petrol went up to 50p a Gallon from 30p used to top up the tank with paraffin at the end of the week to keep me going that was 15p a gallon, ran fine but smelled a bit. The good old days. Wish I hadn't sold it though , in those days they were cheap £150 , now £?????
