You know, looking back and considering the SNES's limitations, this is a pretty decent port.
You can also get the retropie that has MK2 mk1 and the rest of snes games including the nes

This one of the best MORTAL KOMBAT Games ever made. Love the Super Nintendo Version, got it myself.
I always play always with MILEENA, BARAKA and LIU KANG, it is the easiest way to beat that Game in my opinion.
You handle JOHNNY CAGE very well, respect.

God, I still remember the attract scenes from when I was a kid. I was too young to really play arcade games, but I still remember seeing it at our local Water World (now completely abandoned.)
I could never understand why,Johnny cages primary belt and ankle pads were red in this port,and not blue.

Tbh this the only mortal kombat i play, and one little detail i loved is when you made it to shao khan, no one said who won and what not cause your fighting him then and there lol

Mais um vídeo surpreendente, eu gosto muito como elaborar seus combos é tão divertido de se acompanhar, realmente, eu me divertir bastante quando começou a bugar os sprites, ou quando começou a pular de costas, ainda para contemplar, aqueles momentos que o personagem ficava atrás do inimigo, mas ele não virava a posição e ficava parado wwww muito bom !!

Are the SNES/Genesis versions of MK2 easier than the arcade? Cause the arcade version is near impossible no matter the difficulty
Don't know about Genesis but The Super Nintendo version is so unforgiving when on very hard.. This is a TSA meaning a little computer help so it can be pleasing to the eyes of viewers..

how do you do the energy ball for Cage? i did down, back, and low kick but it always does the shadow upoercut.
You're forgetting a directional, the original move is: forward, down, back + high punch.

I’m sure a lot will agree and a lot will disagree with me but give me Mortal Kombat 2 on super Nintendo any day over the Genesis version..It’s way more polished and even the 32X version was just a Band-Aid For what the Genesis lacked

that I remember in SNES and Sega is possible 4 kicks I don't tested still in SNES version (U) still,but I think that works,Arcade or another plataforms I don't know but in SNES and mainly Sega is very easy to do the kicks.

The AI in this version was at least bearable, compared to the Mega Drive's cheating bullshit. Only drawback was you got way fewer continues to make up for it.
