Very Good!!
Yes! Fantastic!
Cheers! Listening to this version of Twist and Shout again after so many years, it sounds so much like a prototype for Rio Rocks.
I was there. It was packed because Security guards were selling ticket stubs to people outside (me included) even though it was a sell out. I was at the Kilburn Ballroom gig where some twat let off a teargas canister too, I was made to take off all my studded wristbands because by then the press had said SSS were all about violence at gigs. Supported at Kilburn by Black Elvis 2000 and We've Got A Fuzzbox And We're Going To Use It. Great days!!
I used to have a tape of the Kilburn gig. It was a stereo audience recording. Good quality. Jane Mansfield was hilarious. Anyone uploaded it here, I wonder? Would love to hear it again.
I remember the teargas . A couple of people ran past me clutching their noses and then it hit me.
I was at both of those gigs as well and yes, I got my ticket from the security guards. I also saw them play Raymond's Review Bar. Love Sputnik!
Have you heard the sounddesk recording robin just got flaunt it 4 cd wow
I have and the sound quality is amazing! I never thought we'd hear live Sputnik from 1985 in such fantastic quality.
Although I wish they hadn't messed around with the track listing. At the actual gig, Twist & Shout was played as a messy, ragged encore where it made perfect sense. But on the CD it's been moved up so it's now the third track where it doesn't work nearly as well.
@@robinebay imagine what other sound desk recordings they might have
@@griff1967 can we know if this exists?
