I mean to each their own, but i think the instrumental in Culture Shock- City Lights is way better than this. This one has amazing vocals to carry it though.
I'll be damned if I don't turn the volume up @1:27 for that initial drop, every time...and hands up for the second one like I'm on a damn rollercoaster.

You are right, you can't really compare it to the original, this is more traditional dnb whereas the original is pendulums incomparable style.
I want Pendulum to get back to stuff like Hold Your Colour album, a similar masterpiece of an album needs a comeback. I'm not saying current DnB is bad but it's not as awesome as DnB from 2000s.

When Dimension dropped this in a set, I really thought it was a mashup of 'City Lights'. Disappointed Matrix & Futurebound didn't come up with something more original.

It's really good. But then so is the original. And then City Lights is really good too. As are Matrix and Futurebound. It doesn't ruin the original; both are great tunes in their own right.

well its both at the same time. City Lights is also a good track, it's just that Watercolour is such a great classic and it doesn't deserve a remix which sounds like another track. It also loses the power of the original melody. I think that Watercolour shouldn't have been remixed, I would still play the original

It's not terrible but not great either, I mean yes we still have that Pendulum feel to it, well kinda the vocals are there but that's about it the rest just doesn't give the atmosphere of the original or even make you feel pumped, feel a bit lukewarm on this one really.
