My opinion on all of this 1. Recording sounds from game - not from game files 2. Shit VMT shading / probably even without texture mixing 3. Missing sounds on some moments 4. Weapons shaking bc they without IK connection In general lot bugs I think is not good result when can better
My thoughts on your opinions: 1. Iirc, MWII sound files are heavily encrypted and Greyhound has yet to find a way to properly convert them. This is why so many MWII ports out there have someone else to record the sound. 2. Idk what to say about this. They look okay at best. 3. Idk how to put this, but essentially, unlike other Source engine games, each weapons in L4D2 have a limited amount sound events/banks. Modders who want to include custom sounds in their weapon mods have to utilize some or all of those sound events/banks. Since each weapon in MWII has so many sound events/banks, MWII-port-to-L4D2 modders have to pick the necessary ones and even if they do, they also have to match the ported audio to the vanilla audio's duration to prevent audio glitches. 4. Again, no comment...
