නල්ලූර් උත්සවය යනු ශ්රී ලංකාවේ යාපනයේ නල්ලූර්හි මූලික වශයෙන් සමරනු ලබන වැදගත් හින්දු උත්සවයකි. එය දෙමළ හින්දු ආගමේ ප්රමුඛ චරිතයක් වන හින්දු දෙවියා වන ස්කන්දා (මුරුගන් ලෙසද හැඳින්වේ) ගෞරවය පිණිස පවත්වනු ලැබේ.
උත්සවයේ අරමුණ:
මෙම උත්සවය දෙවියන්ගේ නපුරට එරෙහි ජයග්රහණය සහ ආරක්ෂකයෙකු සහ ප්රතිලාභියෙකු ලෙස ඔහුගේ භූමිකාව සමරයි. බැතිමතුන්ට ආශිර්වාද ලබාගැනීමට, කෘතවේදීත්වය පිරිනැමීමට, විවිධ ආගමික කටයුතුවලට සහභාගි වීමට ද කාලයකි.

விழாவின் நோக்கம்:
தீமையின் மீது தெய்வத்தின் வெற்றியையும், பாதுகாவலராகவும் நன்மை செய்பவராகவும் அவரது பங்கை இவ்விழா கொண்டாடுகிறது. பக்தர்கள் ஆசீர்வாதம் பெறவும், நன்றி செலுத்தவும், பல்வேறு மத நடவடிக்கைகளில் பங்கேற்கவும் இது ஒரு நேரம்.
