That’s a great selection Johny. I had only heard of a few of these so there’s plenty of watching ahead for me. Not a factual canal programme as such, but a very amusing and absorbing drama is The Flower of Gloster, which was a children’s series from the 1960’s. It is only semi scripted and there are many scenes with real canal workers talking about their way of life. The Anderton lift is shown working with the motors and pulleys. It’s on RUclips.
