I really respect the effort that has gone into this. It's going to be way too Hollywood for a proper F1 fan, but it's one step closer to a decent F1 film. I just wish Americans actually understood F1's history well enough. The soul, it you will
No one in the states cares about parade racing. We like passing and competition. If we go to watch a parade we want candy thrown at us so our blood sugar doesn't crash out of boredom and obesity.
Honestly, as a racing fan, and a film geek, I'm hyped for this. A lot of people are saying bad things about it, but that's because it's still in production, and bts footage does look funky before it's finished. So honestly, I feel like once the second trailer has released and even the final product comes out, it'll blow people away.
@wesselmartens1621 like I said, I'm a film geek too. I'm currently part of three different film productions, one of which I'm directing and I've studied film production since I was 8. I know how clunky it's footage looks, and it's gonna get better with time. Getting aggravated over an unfinished film is like calling a painter a fraud for having not starting the trees on a forest painting. These things take time. You're saying it's gonna be predictable, yet we no almost no details about it. The only predictable thing about this is your attitude.
@@duhlorean741 I mean predictable inside the film itself. Classic Hollywood film with cliche story arc, too many special FX and shallow conversations. Anyway, I hope I’m wrong.
Good to see some enthusiasm from Brad Pitt, he sounds very involved. Some actors just show up to say their lines but this give assurance that the movie will more likely be worth the watch. F1 fans(me) will probably still cringe at a lot of what is shown but this does give some confidence

Brad Pitt acting as a character based on the great Michael Schumacher that has been Americanized. No wonder people say F1 doesn't feel like F1 anymore 😂🤣
This film will be the usual nonsense, shallow character study. romantic interest, nothing tech. Made for DTS audience. Nothing will beat LeMans Steve McQueen as a Motorsport movie

Well said.

Americans do understand F1, it’s just the celebrities who don’t know squat about it that ruin the sport

The interviewer really made me feel bad for brad in this interview
Ted Kravitz? One of the most knowledgeable people in F1 you clown 🤡
?
Don’t do ted dirty like that! 😂 His notebooks are one of the best parts of a GP weekend
Yeah, he wasn't doing the greatest job of hiding his indifference
@Full_Monty_ id rather not hear his effeminate tone.
Still not as hard as playing f1 games with a mouse and keyboard, no assists enabled
Don't stress me out like that
I used to play mouse and keyboard but I was sure it was impossible without assists
Mouse steering is pretty good. I win lots of races with mouse setup in LFS S2 days

I love that Brad is passionate about F1, but isn’t he too old to play an F1 driver!? He’s almost as old as Helmut Marko ffs
I’m sure he is playing an Alonso figure
@@zero_day_xsploit yeah hes playing a character that retires and rejoins the grid like 20 whole years later
@itsSviatoslav This is rookie of the year spirit like Alonso, can be interesting lol

He said it. It's got a mecachrome engine, same as the ones from F2.
Don’t the cameras add a lot of drag?
I don’t think I’ll enjoy the _drama_ segment of this movie but if the cinematography is good then that would be quite nice.
Just wow. Amazing I'm so looking forward to it. 😂

You haven’t even seen the movie yet you socialist
Is he playing Nico Rosberg???
DTS americanisation of the sport was one thing.. hesitant to feel any excitement towards the film yet, but nice to see the effort going in
It's not really for us. But anything that gets people introduced to our sport is a good thing. Despite how the gatekeepers may feel.
