Years ago. I was full of burdens in my heart. Days wont pass without me sobbing. was so lonely and depressed. I had too much on my plate, till one day I couldn't take it anymore. while doing my devotion, I read about Job asking God a very honest question (Job 7:20 )".. Why make me your target, am I a burden to you?" I couldn't help but burst out with tears after reading those verses. I just saw my walk with Him even when I was still a kid, even when I didn't believe Him yet. He was already there. when I looked at the skies, the stars, the mountains, I know He was there calling me to Himself. then after a minute of sighing, I also asked God, from the depths of my soul, O GOD. why target me?! am I a burden to you??? . then after a minute, a strange feeling swept over me and a gentle whisper I heard down to the depths of my soul, it said " Because I LOVE YOU". I was so filled by the Spirit that I was shocked why all people were smiling to me that day, I realized , it was because I couldn't stop smilling because of the gentle voice that echoes throughout the ages. the voice of true Love that comes from God alone ❤
