I'm on the Nikon Z system and I've been using the following
    Nikon 28mm
    Nikon 50mm
    Nikon 85mm
I don't have to do much as far as rebalance... mainly I'm just fine tuning the motors....

NiSi Athena primes. By far the best compact cine lenses I’ve tried. They are very well suited to gimbal work in that the weights vary by minuscule amounts, and the gearing is matched across the line. Balance once and swap at will.

Nice Lens Swap Technique at 3:01 !! 🤓
Minimal Exposure (of sensor etc) to the environment + Looks Profesh! 😎
Primes are great for very intentional shooting. 🤔 Run N Gun? Gotta go with Small Zooms.

Hey, do you attach follow focus on you setup? I own the same setup and mostly use the follow focus system, as I find the autofocus capabilities of the original S5 to be a bit lagging. I was wondering if you could share some tips on how you manage to get the focus right.

Hi Peter! Im S5ii shooter w/ DJI RS3 Mini. Thanks for the tips. I bought the 24mm 1.8 because of the APS-C crop factor in 50 fps mode. I already have 50mm 1.8. I also have Canon 35mm 2.0 with Sigma MC-21. Im interested to get the whole 1.8 lineup in the near future. Which ones you recommend for especially for shooting in APS-C crop mode with Lumix S5ii?

I use a Sony a7C and I use two lenses: Tamron 17-28mm F2.8 and Sony FE 35mm F1.8. IQ on the Sony is great and NO breathing. Tamron is an internal zoom, more suitable for smaller spaces and more versatile. I am not fully happy with the body as gimbal controls and face AF don't work together. I also bought the Sony 24mm F1.4 GM based on raving YT reviews. Don't believe the reviewers, it sucks for video with anything that moves. It breathes like an asthmatic chihuahua. Background wobbles all over the place.
By the way, if I would have to start over again I would really consider the Sony 20-70mm F4. I hardly ever use a smaller aperture than F4, it is very versatile and apparently has also no focus breathing. I don't enjoy switching lenses as I dont want to lose the moment. However, this 20-70 thought is based on reviews not experience.

A body with focus breathing compensation would work much better for that 24mm, I'm waiting for the a7siii update in spring to get that feature

@@noahmonte8581 I was considering upgrading to the a7c ii for this but still tend towards selling the 24mm. There are other things I don’t like about it. Autofocus is slow and hunts more than I would like it to. 35mm F1.8 is so much better in all kinds of ways. I would have loved to have it with 24mm focal range.

hey Peter! I subbed years ago and I got one problem:
I own a crane 2s. everything is fine. Only one thing is not working properly. When im switching to POV mode. the roll axis is not even. it rotates just a few angle to the left. switching to PF it almost switch back to even orientation.
already did the 6 axis calibration multiple times. maybe u had same issues?
