Now everything’s overrated, and everything’s underrated. This is the song I’ve been waiting for. Love it, paul and the band just get better and better. album of the year
Beat song on the album. Should have gone mainstream as a single. I think Australians would have really fallen in love with this song big time given the exposure and opportunity
I wonder what Paul thinks of Helmet. No, I'm not asking for cover - I just wonder about Paul's approach to lyrics. He seems to hold up, and hold out his most pessimistic thoughts, just to see if there's anything good left to embrace (and, in his hearts of hearts, I think he does embrace.) I listen to Helmet with a similar thing in mind.
Paul is an enemy to sentimentality; and, rightly so (or, maybe Helmet are. Paul is after something gentle (perhaps.)) Great song! I look forward to finding the money in my budget to buy the album, and have a proper listen.
I could listen to Paul Dempsey play acoustic all day!
One of the best tracks on the album for sure. Absolutely stunning.
Should have been a single..

2020 had some really good love songs, and this was definitely one of them. Love it.
I would so love a session with Paul to learn some of his songwriting methods and processes.
