@@BriEva13 I guess not the main writer but he wrote and directed a couple of episodes each season. I think at least 2 of the yin yang episodes have been co-written and directed by him. But as for the movie, I think he is very much one of the main writer's.
James Roday seemed more like Shawn Spencer in this interview then in his Psych: The Movie promotional videos. I was actually waiting for him to say, "I've heard it both ways." LOL
He is so chill in this it kind of makes me sad, then he makes a little joke and I’m like yep thats Shawn. Psych is like my all time favorite, ask anyone I know I’m obsessed joe with pineapples and I don’t even like the taste

It's almost like the writer's lost direction with the story line. It was the same thing with a lot of the episodes from season 8. I've always been a BIG fan of the show and have all 8 seasons, but I think they just ran out of ideas.
It's sad that the new Phsyc movie wont be on USA, delayed till 2020 AND will ONLY be available through NBCUs new streaming service Peacock "insert crude joke here". Needless to say I will not be purchasing another streaming service after Disney+. Really REALLY BAD timing guys...
