Good version yet the version by Irish Brendan Bowyer and Royal Showband🎸🎸🎸 is the best ever listen to it on youtube I'm sure you'll agree he had a no 1 in Ireland with the Hucklebuck and his follow up hit also a no 1 was Don't lose your Hucklebuck Shoes👞👞👠👠🩰
Great tune! One of Checker's underrated hits. The B-side, "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On" also charted. I hope you post that as well! Oh, BTW, glad you're back!
Great to hear Chubby Checker's version of this great song. The song had been around for at least a decade before Chubby did it as The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra did a great version of it in 1949 featuring their trumpet player Charlie Shavers on lead vocal. It's more swing while Chubby's version is more rock... both performed well. Youtu.be/KxwtxPPy7W8
ATTENTION! Chubby Checker will be at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster, PA on April 28 in an attempt to have the entire stadium do the Twist before the Atlantic League baseball team the Barnstormers have their opening game of the season. You don't want to miss this opportunity to make history.
Your videos aren't worth uploading on RUclips anymore Spencer. Go and upload videos at DailyMotion.com. Awesome site. It might be the next popular video site since Google destroyed RUclips already with all the copyright crap. Hope to see some of your videos there soon!
