I love Lea's voice in the E5 pitch!!!

I think Lea gets better and better. She's amazing in all the seasons, but the third and the fourth are her best ones so far (haven't seen anything from the 5th yet)

The To Love You More legato is - "A4-B4-C#5-B4-A4-G#4-F#4-G#4-A4-G#4-A4-G#4-E4-F#4-D5-C#5-B4-A4-G#4-A4" and she is resonant throughout.

chung2F5 Yeah, it's pretty hard to be resonated throughout all of that.

haha I went crazy when I heard Lea at the end of To Love You More - besides the fact that they changed the general tempo of the song and slowed it down and took out the violins completely - the last note that she sustains, I was positive it was all in one breath I am glad you confirmed it for me. Her breathing in those 28sec is crazy! She's asble to maintain her breathing, sustain the note and can essentially move her vocals up and down. Amazing

Her middle belt sounds so easy for her, and her highs perfect as always

I'm a male too, and when I sing it an octave lower, I run out of breath because that's where my range starts to get really airy. When I sing it in falsetto I can last a little bit longer. xD I actually reached a new milestone today. I held out the entire "ooooh" part. lol

    Dianna (F4) & Lea (C5) harmonizing Santana... :)

The live and the normal version is A5, but the performance version during the episode, I believe, is pitch-corrected.

It's one breath. If you try singing it you can imitate it, by kind of 'sighing' as you go into the next line, or bouncing the chord as you go from 'oo-ho.' I don't think it's possible to breath that fast too. :) Source: Me spending the past month trying to hold the 28-second note, but only reaching 19 seconds. xD

    It's really miraculous!
I can't even hold 28 seconds in 4th octave xD
    (I'm a male)

It was much better in S4, I couldn't decide if she was holding back in the other seasons or that her voice became stronger. She had more pure ballads in S4 though.

Her notes sound so much higher than they really are :) it doesn't matter coz they sound fantastic

I don't think she developed more. She's a trained Broadway Singer I think she knows how to control her pitch.

They held her back in the first couple of seasons so she would sound more like a high school sophomore. The producers talked about trying to get her to not use any vibrato in those early songs. They let her loose in season three. Yeah.

Tashies Wurld - there is no way she breathed twice during those 28 seconds - it's pretty much impossible without breaking the note.

    • @nataliemanning1504
      @nataliemanning1504 8 лет назад

It's not impossible. The longest note that I know of is 31 seconds

ha this is funny she has to cut down on her vibrato for the pop songs. She has a very strong vibrato.

Oh come on, how cud u hear/think/say so?? :(( actually heard from here it was perfectly on one breath, what u thought her 2nd breath take was the little gap of her emphasizing (rightTerm?idk) the same note with her typical high pitched noise 8:44 ... i hope u understand what i mean (im indonesian, dont really know how to really describe it..) :D he7x...
