I watched for five days while my younger sister passed away last year from cancer and watched my mother passed away. The hardest thing I ever did. Hugs and prayers to you and your family.

I just kept saying, "yup, yup, yup....," as every word you said hit my heart. I kissed my Dad on his forehead as he took his last breath. After 4 months of hospitals and rest homes and back to the hospital and the rest homes and back to the hospital. I drove 160 miles roundtrip every other day to be with him until I took Family Leave so I could stay at our house, empty as my Mother died suddenly 20 years prior. He kept us together. He was my biggest cheerleader. I was a dumb punk-kid and he ALWAYS forgave me for being such a jerk, and between both of my parents, all 4 of us are still tight, still follow the lessons learned. Stupid mortality. Such amazing people. May we see them again. Love ya!

In 1987, when I was 19, I saw my father slowly deteriorate from cancer over a 3-month period. I know how you feel. Much love and many blessings.

You need to take time for self care now. Get sleep, stay hydrated, try to do things you enjoy. It will get easier to deal with. I think a tribute video is a great idea. Do it when you feel you are ready, we will wait for you. Grief has no schedule. Real men cry and show emotions, my father told me that.

Hey man, listen no one can know how you feel. But I can relate, I lost my Dad when I was in boot camp, at 18. I can only tell you that his memories will keep him alive. I would do anything to help you, if you wanna talk. Peace My Brother. 1 Michael
