    there has to be something happening on Nirn, there's many races that left their homelands to migrate to Tamriel, the Redguards, the Nords, the Aldmer. It is almost as if something is causing these homeland continents to be destroyed or made uninhabitable as a way to force intelligent races towards Tamriel for some reason.

      yeah i know, but its seems like a common issue so if its not the planet its the lore writers writing it happening again and again for some reason. there must be a theory that supports this

      didn't both the redgaurds and the left handed elves use some sort of forgotten power that literally splits fucking atoms, and they just literally nuked half of Yokuda into the ocean? if that's true than it seems like they are both at fault.

    Love the idea that with elves being aligned with the time god and man being aligned with the space god (created mundus) that Aldmeris is a time without a place and Atmora is a place outside of time

    When world was created elves got kicked out.
    Thats why they hate Lorkan probably.

      According to an Elder Scrolls Aldmeris was physical for the elves before linear time formed. It existed as a holding space until the beginning of time. Auri-el(Akatosh) created kingdoms for the Aldmer to inherit so when time began they had homes. The elven hatred for Lorkhan(Shor) began when man was created by Lorkhan and Kynareth at the throat of the world in Skyrim. The men were sent to conquer Altmora, the northernmost Aldmer kingdom on Nirn. The men conquered Altmora and claimed it as their own, renaming it Atmora. The Aldmer fled back to where they came from.

    *WHAT I BELIEVE TO BE THE STORY LINE FOR TES6* I think that the next Elder Scrolls game will be focusing mostly on the Thalmor following up on the civil war in Skyrim and the Psijic Order from the mages guild. Here’s why, knowing from skyrim that the thalmor want a magical edge. As in the mages guide quest with the Eye of Magnus, and them knowing how much power the Thalmor know the Eye of Magnus gave to Ancano (he’s that mean Thalmor that tries to kill you FYI) Also Skyrim and Cyrodill control will fail do to not being able to fight back after being in a heated battle with each other because of the Thalmor, and the civil war, and it is left to the Psijic Order to help those left. You will be fighting against the Thalmor in an army made up of survivors from different factions. Because at this time the Thalmor would have already taking over lot of different provinces on their quest of becoming the master race, and are preparing to invade the Island of Artaeum home of the Psijic Order. Where the player will come in is that they will be a prisoner by the Thalmor, and the Psijic Order will single them out as the last hope because they feel something about them but they don’t know what exactly it is yet. So a Psijic Order member will come to you in prison help you escape telling you how the Thalmor are trying to take the Eye of Magnus for its power and that you must go to the resistance army and spread the word for them. So you will go to the army and tell them of the new about the Thalmor plains and the Psijic Orders help, but as the game goes threw you start to realize your power at being a natural born leader, bravery, skill, and will power. Thus the traits for being a dragon born. (Because it would be dumb for them not to bring it back into the game. Plus it’s linked to the gods wanting you to succeed and Talos wanting his good name to not be forgotten along with the other gods, and I like dragons.) So the player is dragon born we find this out by the player killing a left over dragon and taking its soul. Also dragons have been traveling all over Tamriel Because they no longer have to listen to Alduin. (Side note shouts in skyrim were way to over powered so in this game dragons are more and I mean more rare along with shouts, and a player really has to be a sweaty nerd to get them through late game quests and not early ones, and they are buffed down to not make the game a cake walk like skyrim.) So with the army of misfits and the dragon born they will solve differences in races not getting along and adventure to stop the Thalmor from invading the Island of Artaeum to become unstoppable. 😏 please leave your thoughts on this idea or your own plots on the next game in the comments I’d love to read them and reply.

    Aldmeris had to have existed, because Aldmer, the grand daddy race of elves, existed, and they had to have came from somewhere. Not Yokuda because they'd evolve into Sinistral Elves, not Pyandonea because they'd evolve into Maormer, definitely not Thraas for obvious reasons. So ; IF Aldmeris isn't real, the Aldmer could have came from either Akavir, or Atmora. Atmora is a no go, they would most likely evolve into snow elves then. Now Akavir is interesting. It's been said and confirmed that the Tsaesci ate all the MEN on Akavir... But not any potential MER. Since High elves are the closest thing we have to Aldmer... The Aldmer most likely looked the same, with their features probably more exaggerated (a deeper golden skin tone, possibly taller, etc.). I believe Summerset Isles is a more sunny part of Nirn, and Akavir looks like, besides the land of the snow demons, much the same. Who knows, maybe the Aldmer are just too powerful for the Tsaesci to eat... Or maybe they don't have a taste for elves. But most likely, Aldmeris was a real physical continent. Why else wouldn't those ships return?

    • @oddindian1
      @oddindian1 4 года назад +1

      An interesting thing to add is the lore regarding the kingdoms established by Auri-el for the Aldmer. "Atmora" was originally an elven kingdom named "Altmora" meaning elder wood. Shor/shezzar gathered the first men and conquered the land for men displacing the elves who were Aldmer. A possible theory is that Atmora is actually Aldmeris. However in actuality this not likely true because of the descriptions of what Aldmeris looked like; an alien landscape that was covered by a colossal continent city stacked upon former cities. To state for the record Atmora was in fact an Aldmer Kingdom in the Dawn Era originally.

    • @oddindian1
      @oddindian1 4 года назад +1

      Supposedly men originally came from a creation of Kyne/kynareth. Shor/Lorkhan/Shezar made an agreement with Kyne and men were breathed into life to fight for Lorkhan. *NOTE Lorkhan was punished in ME 2500. (His physical form destroyed and his heart thrown to what was to become Vvardenfell's Red Mountain. ) Mankind originated in Skyrim and later rediscovered the place of their birth in the Form of Ysgramor.

  • @chrisleonard2066
    @chrisleonard2066 5 лет назад +2

    Imo Aldmeris exists but we see that intercontinental travel is rare and restricted on Nirn for some reason so it’s hard to find and establish contact.
    The moth priests can say what they want but we all know that elder scrolls are fickle things at best and so it’s entirely plausible their opinion is based on an alternate reality. Speaking of the conflicting concepts of aldmeris could be due to a dragon break, but there’s no telling if that’s true since no one has hard evidence of its location.
    Regardless of what it’s like, there has to be an elven homeland and a protorace of mer, because even in the elder scrolls evolution still occurs and we know all the elven races are related. So whether it’s a separate continent, tiny island, in akavir, or on some place already discovered with archaeological evidence yet to be found it has to be out there

    aldmeris is the opposite of atmora, it is very hot, always changing because of the flaw it creates, and it became chaotic and hot, so the mer live there desire more peaceful and stale condition, hence they go to tamriel. and because of the temperature, it evaporated into the sky, so it doesn't really exist.

    • @oddindian1
      @oddindian1 4 года назад

      Atmora's climate was different in the Merethic and Dawn Eras. "Atmora" was originally called "Altmora"(Elder Wood.) It was before the creation of man the northernmost Aldmer kingdom on Nirn.

  • @MeneltirFalmaro

    I'm inclined to believe "The Annotated Anuad" on the origin of the elves and Tamriel being the remains of Aldmeris. The only elves that both mention leaving Aldmeris in their myths and are found on mainland Tamriel are the Dunmer, and even in their case the journey is either metaphorical or from Alinor. Oh and most of the Orcs, but "Before the Ages of Man" disagrees with them. There is the issue of a distinct lack of Aldmeri ruins, which I have no satisfying answer to.
