Hi Hair Buddha, what are your thoughts on Schwarzkopf BLONDME Clay Lightener? Would you say it’s worth using or just as good as there bleaching powder?
When I had 35 inches hair past my bum of black hair one box no problem and my hair is fine but I have a lot of it even when it’s short. I only use schwarzkopf to my knowledge they do have more product verses standard box dye brands that do not sell salon quality products to salons or Barbour’s. If you go for box dyes go for brands that sell actual salon product versions to reputable salons. Also learn basic colour theory and basic hair theory in general before you go near your hair. I grew up with older relatives in hairs dressing and makeup artist trade I learned basics at young age.
Yes H.B. back in my 20's some of my hair laid down and jumped off my hair in a gummy way right into my hair brush. Upper back of my hair was super gummy. I went and got a hair cut, allot of my length came off and i had layers done. Thankfully i liked the hair cut allot. The haircut took off the bad damage to.
I was a paint eye matcher for 7 years. I used color wheel to tone down a shade also. My colleagues and I called it "muddying" because adding complimentary colors makes it look brown. This can be preferable especially when it comes to beiges and tans.
At least she has a sense of humour. :) I feel bad for her and can relate to the pain she's in and not having full range of motion, but she's doing quite well considering. Hopefully she got her hair fixed and just as she wants it. :)
I had learned I would need two boxes from hairdressers who needed to use two coloring bottles because one professional coloring would never fully be able to color my hair. Also , two for perming my hair by hairdressers too. 😂
What's the best way to get rid of residual red after using creme Bleach and powder Bleach number 10.......we didn't have a choice but to do this at home because salons charge a hecka lot......do we use Bleach and then a toner or......please note we don't have very much to shop with and the only reason this had to be done is because she went for an interview at a pie shop and the owner asked that she change her hair.......no worries about that but I really hope she gets it because we need a ray sunshine in our lives 😊 I hope you can give some advice
He did say to look at the "color wheel". Choose the color opposite of what you are trying to neutralize. Hope that helps. Edit: and good luck to her with the job!!
Love getting notices of your new videos. Very educational. This woman doesn't seem for real. It is such a lack of common sense and hair maintenance. I think she acted this way for the video. At least I hope so.
As hard as it may have been, she should had let it grow out a bit more, and try to cut out that awful mess. I use Garnier too, but I always section my hair. Her hair has no saturation. I think that particular dye should remain on your head for 25 - 30 minutes
She also has a ton of hair. I would assume she needs a couple of boxes. LOL I said this seconds before she talked about it. She needs some hair clips and a friend to lean on. :/ I have to use 4+ boxes to cover my hair, but Im heavily textured, red. I have MS, so I feel her struggle. Any tips for maintaining 4R-5R natural red? Somedays it looks brown some days it looks fiery.
They've got those color depositing shampoos & conditioners. You use them several times a week & it keeps your red red. Last time I bought some it was from Sally Beauty here in the states.
I colored did a split blue hair and the other side was my natural hair. Left it for a year to see what happened since I’m starting to get gray hair. But only the side that was bleach with blue got more gray hairs. Got tired of the different shades of blue so I colored it Copper for one day and then the next day colored it dark brown. Blue is a hard color to take off.
Colourometry is complex. Hair dye doesn't exactly cover what's underneath. It's a bit like aquarelle, as you add colour, it mixes with the colours you already use before.
I shaved my hair off last March and it's taken all this time to grow it to my shoulders. My hair used to grow white quickly but I don't wash it every day now so maybe that has impacted the growth? I don't know has I'm no expert! 😭🤔💖

I LIVE for your sarcasm…
Most Box Dyes have the following color number system: 1 = Blue, 2 = Violet, 3 = Gold, 4 = Orange ( Copper ), 5 = Red-Violet ( Mocha ),6 = Red, 7 = Green ( Matte ), 8 = Blue-Violet ( Pearl / Iridescent ), 9 = Grey ( Titanium / Silver ) 0 = Neutral.
Yes H.B. back in my 20's some of my hair laid down and jumped off my hair in a gummy way right into my hair brush. Upper back of my hair was super gummy. I went and got a hair cut, allot of my length came off and i had layers done. Thankfully i liked the hair cut allot. The haircut took off the bad damage to.
Always explains everything so well
I was a paint eye matcher for 7 years. I used color wheel to tone down a shade also. My colleagues and I called it "muddying" because adding complimentary colors makes it look brown. This can be preferable especially when it comes to beiges and tans.
Oh that sounds fun. What is a paint eye matcher ?
At least she has a sense of humour. :)
I feel bad for her and can relate to the pain she's in and not having full range of motion, but she's doing quite well considering. Hopefully she got her hair fixed and just as she wants it. :)
I don't see that its that bad! Looks good to me!
She’s be stunning as a redhead!
Обожаю смотреть на вашу реакцию!!!класс, super❤❤❤🎉🎉УКРАИНА
I had learned I would need two boxes from hairdressers who needed to use two coloring bottles because one professional coloring would never fully be able to color my hair. Also , two for perming my hair by hairdressers too. 😂
Love your expressions!,,🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Always learning ty hair buddha 🙏❤️
Fail? Yeah, there's still green, dull lengths but it does look better overall. Go pixie with the pretty brown. 🧚♀️
She seems like she would be a character created by Catherine Tate. 😄
Immediately I knew, she needed to go dark red, then brown. I know she's not going to do that. I can already tell. 😢
Use something with ash,green
Unless your red is actually orange, then you will need a violet toner
Love getting notices of your new videos. Very educational. This woman doesn't seem for real. It is such a lack of common sense and hair maintenance. I think she acted this way for the video. At least I hope so.
This was a terrible plan.....1 bottle of dye/bleach. This will be patchy......
Yay waited for this 😂
When I had my purple hair face,I just used Head & Shoulders and it came right off. Mind you,I had used 10 vol only. But it does come off.
Question: What protein treatment is good for curly hair?
As hard as it may have been, she should had let it grow out a bit more, and try to cut out that awful mess. I use Garnier too, but I always section my hair. Her hair has no saturation. I think that particular dye should remain on your head for 25 - 30 minutes
I would have re greened it, I love beautiful green hair.
🎶 never enough..never.. never..🎶
She also has a ton of hair.
Ykayina!!!❤❤❤
Hair buddah if I bought a medium brown and a light brown can I mix 1/2 of each color and will it just look like a nicer brown? Hopefully you read this
I have Lupus so I feel bad for Her being in Pain 😢 its A struggle everyday just to do basic things
Sooooooo, Beach Bath is AKA Forty Frizz Fry where she lives 🤨🧐 I'm thinking it was dry before her bleach bath opposite of what she said. Hmmm 🤔
It does look 100% better than it did
I shaved my hair off last March and it's taken all this time to grow it to my shoulders. My hair used to grow white quickly but I don't wash it every day now so maybe that has impacted the growth? I don't know has I'm no expert! 😭🤔💖
Happy weekend HB
I think it still looks better than it did before but my question would be is can she reapply a auburn color to that to neutralize the green?
I hate those squeaky voice overs lol, chipmunks. Irks me 😂
God , me too 😤😤
Yes!!! I had to turn the video off honestly just because of that.
The color wheel is easily accessible on our 📱's!
Ill never understand why ppl just assume 40 vol and box dye will fix everything. At least consult a color wheel. Google SOMETHING 😅
she's cool. Anything works
