I for one enjoy the tournaments ! Also, I love this series, it brings me be back to when I first discovered your channel. I hope you continue it for longer than the other series you’ve been uploading recently.
I always felt that Pendor has this immaculate vibe thanks to the lore, music, and beautiful medieval tapestry/manuscript artwork. I also like the spooky random events that happen as you travel, like the goddess speaking or random skill increases.
Don’t cut out the progressions and boring travelling! I like that classic slow yet steady journey and seeing the full progression from zero to hero! I don’t mind longer vids, cuz imma bindge/ rewatch entire series one day
The game is in the grind. People get impatient when it seems there is no progression, but in this, we see you fighting inch by inch. Don't worry about the impatient, just let us see the road while we walk along it.
I for one am here for the ride. Tournaments, trading, anything monotonous in Pendor I’m here for. That being said, I’d like this series to continue for as long as possible, and if that’s based off views, and the consensus is that most people don’t enjoy them, then I’m ok with you skipping them. Whatever maximizes the Pendor content, I’m happy with.
Just you know ,i am loving your vids for manny years now and not ever had the tournaments felt a bummer in your vids. I love seeing them sinds there is not the mess you have in a battel. Sorry for ^misstyping . English is not my main.
I enjoy your tournament playthroughs. To be fair, whether you play it off screen or on screen, it doesn't matter to me that much, I still gonna enjoy it. Keep it up James.
Whatever you do, as long as youre having fun, thats what really matters! The audience can always tell when you're invested in a series and having fun with it and thats the most important part!
I vote for leaving the tournaments in. I agree with you, and I honestly find it baffling that people would want to watch you let your troops win a big fight for you, in which you hit two or three enemies, rather than actually seeing you have to fight multiple opponents. It's often more exciting watching tournaments than watching big battles, because there's more immediate risk!
Love the tournaments, love this series, love Pendor!!! This has always been my favorite on your channel so it's a pleasure that you're taking us back there 😁
For tournaments where you aren't guaranteed a mount, if you don't have one but a teammate does, get them to stop and dismount, then steal it. Prevents the situation at the start of the video from happening (to you at least).
Long time viewer here, I really love to see the whole journey of your playthroughs and to see your decisions through the game. I don't even mind if it gets repetitive with certain steps (like tournaments) if it is what you do, to get progress done :)
Reformist. Thank you very much for every movie you uploaded. Keep going mate! I don't know if you have any side job beside RUclips but as I'm watching you through years of uploading I'm very happy you're still doing what we love watching. Thank you in the name of all people who watch you for a quite long time. And also thank you for coming back to Pendor!
23:19 an interesting way to go about this would be to help Sir Boris defeat the Fierdsvain, let his own troops die while keeping yours at the back, and after the battle is over attack Sir Boris who should be now only fielding the leftovers of his army. This way you get more renown, loot, and what have you, and then you still get to acquire the qualis gem + Boris's unique loot (since he fields elite knight units and these drop some amazing loot of their own - including gold bars if I recall correctly.) If you just join in with 80 troops while the Fierdsvain have 500, your chances of acquiring any significant loot such as gold bars is practically 0%. And do recruit peasant women/maiden scouts etc as they get to become heroine adventuress and reign terror and destruction among your enemies! 🤣
@@ReformistTM also keep in mind that unique spawns need to be above like 20% or something for u to be able to capture them. maybe its 15% but idk for sure
1- I love tournament. It gives you that feeling of almost losing and winning. The emotional damage! The only part that is bad is the ramdom weapons as it feel unfair. 2- I belive you should use the bow and arrows just when you are riding the horse try to catch an enemy horseman.
16:50 I really enjoy seeing everything because I love seeing the journey of you slowly climbing and going from helpless against everything at the start to a unique spawn slaying hero. :) Having said that, the cuts you do make always seem really well thought out and with the viewer experience in mind so maybe I think I want to see everything because you manage to capture the journey so well whilst cutting out the parts that don't contribute to that entertaining journey e.g. when you cut out circling around someone on a horse whilst throwing javelins at their shield until it broke. Thanks for the video! :)
I‘ve recently rediscovered your perisno elintor series and that inspired me to play perisno once more and jesus christ i‘m rusty haha but yeah great video as always
Feed me more PoP videos please Reformist, and also keep in the progression! The journey of how you become powerful is the most fun part of the game to see in my opinion. Love the series as always. Pendor is amazing! Also, not to be offensive or anything, but the time you joined the empire, I did play along somewhat as I joined them too. I however joined the Empire Immortals where you joined the Centurions. Anyways, my game was bugged and every NPC was made with a alike face, which all seemed to have an extra chromosome. It was hilarious.
I have been watching your vids since before Bannerlord came out. And whether it's tournaments, battles, siege offense or defense, trading, joining a kingdom, creating your own. mount and blade is the only game that i enjoy all of it. And present it really well. Everyone who is complaining valid but they really need to get over themselves. Its all apart of the journey.
I don’t know if this was mentioned before: but I think you can only get the stat increase 3 times, and then after you only get half the increase. So: first 3 you get 2 stats increase each, after 3 only 1 stat increase
Yes, absolutely! I think it's still worth it though, even for just 1 stat each time. Depending on whether you need the gem at the time for another purpose, of course! :)
Use Qualis Gem for stats I guess, you don't have money for anything else at the moment, and you need loot going on, so you can establish economy first and be less depended on loot skill later. Also in 3.9.5 ver the Looter+Trader combo is hella OP. Like you can earn millions. Not with trade, but selling armor/weapons. Also keep in mind that, the more companions you have the less loot you will get. I personally never have more than 4. And that is when my loot is maxed out. Also don't buy tanneries, but dyeworks. Money is more stable, 450~550 while tanneries go all over the place if the city is raided or poor economy. Janos for example is only good for dyework. Tanneries are good in D'Shar lands and only there. First thing I do in every playthrough is buying dyeworks everywhere. And then focus on army and important battles. (Edit some stupid typos).
@@Y0kemeister There isn't much to say, it's self explanatory. Looter skill gives you more loot(but also better loot with positive modifiers) after battle, but you have to be careful with companions as there is this (stupid) balance for participation, so they get a share of your loot at the end of the battle. If one wants good loot, you'd avoid having more than 4 companions in your army. Less the better. Trade skill just gives you better overall prices when you buy and sell. So after any battle you get loot and then you sell said loot to the cities, Armor/Horses/Weapons you acquire. And since traders replenish their money after few days, you can get up to 15k~20k per city in loot (depends on the city development how much money merchants have) Naturally you'd want inventory management skill as well. The sell value also rise with higher reputation of city. So whenever you can buy from the bartender wine for everyone for +1 rep. And tournaments whenever you can.
@@BlackeyeVuk yeah that bit with companions suck, I love having max companions because of the RP feel, it humanizes your party and play experience but what I would do is not max out my companions until I was more established financially, getting max companions early on is really brutal.
Potion of Janus gives 2 intelligence which also gives 2 skill points to be used which is good for filling in specialities with regards to your melee and looting skills that you had talked about in previous episodes
My dude i don't know if you remember, but you can order your allies in tournaments like you order your troops in battle. I just tell all of them to follow me at the start and use them as meat shields. Then i order them accordingly!
If you want whitestag and want to restore pendor without forming it yourself theres a fake pendor claimant who uses griffon knights and i think pendor units the claimant for sarleon. Only issue is you would not have ai vassals immediately in the area to just passively fight the noldor and fill your prison you would need to actively recruit them for the claimant etc
You can also get awarded any other walled fief and just trade it with the owner of the Whitestag castle, if you happen to not get it when the Empire conquers it!!
How come you've been hanging onto that griffin shield from the old ruins for so long? Is it of significance? I sold it in my campaign, hope that's not a mistake

so when it comes to you lacking a bow, I am a little confused as you got that god bow gift early on in the series but it just disappeared at some point, what happened to that?
If you want to handicap yourself why not go for a one/two handed weapon. You can use shield while closing distance on archers and switch to 2 hand in close quarter fighting.
I used the elves to kill one unique spawn and did not get it. I reloaded 20 times and even modified the script file, still did not get it. Normal lords have 0% escape chance now tho.
@@ReformistTM yes, I modified in the script.txt the escape chance of lords against player from 70% to 0 so now they don't escape but it seems it only applies to regular vassals. I experimented quite a lot with unique spawns and it seems I can only get them if I kite to where my allies (other empire vassals like me) are and only if I start the battle and they join in to help.
When it comes to Warband I never bet more then 100 in tourneys because you just get too rich for very little risk. The second tourney in the same area betting 100 gives a far less reward but its still gives relation to the town and a lady as well as a king if there is a feast. I just find it too broken.
