Actually, abrams, leopard2, bradleys etc, did make a big difference on the battlefield: they just made Russian arms and army victorious in sense of fame. They just showed how inadequate they are for the purpose imagined in the heads of warmongers.
@@tamdang8346 Actually negative would imply the tanks _aided_ the Russians in their efforts and in a sense they have. By capturing a few relatively intact they obtained what little useful knowledge they could from them. Other than that they weren't effective to any decisive degree. Too few in number, inadequate armor and the necessary logistical support for these tanks weren't there.

@@asmeekens2942 yeah but the russians have years and years of training and experience in their aircraft, ukrainians don't have that much time to train thats why alot of western equipment fails bcs alot of the crew isn't trained enough to handle lets say a tank or aircraft, if you never have been in an f16 and now you have couple months to train and learn the aircraft isn't enough trust me ask every experienced tank driver or fighter pilot

Tanks, the Abrams, the T-90, the K2, are all very vulnerable on their own. For tanks to be effective on a modern battlefield you have to be able to carry out combined arms warfare and have the balanced forces to do so while dealing with in depth minefields and ATM teams. In training and doctrine, the USA Abrams never moves without Air Cover and highly trained mechanized scout battalions in attendance. The US sending a few dozen Abrams was essentially meaningless except for some P.R. The Ukrainian terrain moreover is very soft twice a year and much more suitable for wide tracked medium tanks than heavy tanks. Even if Biden had done the obvious and sent four hundred of these, you would have needed 1,500 Bradley's and 14,000 highly trained infantry. With Apache regiments in the air, all those nasty Anti-Tank teams end up dead with 30 mm shells tearing them apart. So, it is not the Abrams, it is the combined arms warfare that is missing.
