What a nice surprise! Most US citizens don’t realize how much influence France has had on the US including my home town of Annapolis. I bought two sailboats from the Tidewater Marina. Havre de Grace is such a lovely town. Im currently living in Cape May in an historic farmhouse built in 1890. But I really miss Maryland. Enjoy your time in Maryland. Joe.

And the treaty of Paris which ended the US war for independence was signed in Annapolis? Hello my friends. I had to rewatch this episode. You guys nailed it perfectly. A nice transition from France to Maryland. Seeing that part of MD made me nostalgic for it. The water scenes also reminded me of SNEBS or shorthand for the rivers Susquehanna, Northeast, Elk, Bohemian and Sassafras. Beautiful names for the five freshwater heads of the Chesapeake. I liked the farmhouse too but those nasty green heads are brutal. As are the helicopter sized mosquitoes especially around Smith Island. You two are lovely folks. Have a pleasant evening and I hope you’ll be celebrating La fête national française. I always do. A bientôt. Joseph retired in Cape May.

I'm so sorry you've lost your French dream. For very different reasons I've lost my future time in Italy and my place there. But you can now make a good life in a new place. And, if you find a good income stream, hang on to your vacation home in France.

I'm so sorry you've lost your French dream. For very different reasons I've lost my future time in Italy and my place there. But you can now make a good life in a new place. And, if you find a good income stream, hang on to your vacation home in France.
