@user-sx7xn9td3nto play devils advocate, the lanes Tory is filling are in a sense running parallel. He’s super talented as well with what he’s doing but they’re all very close to one originating sound. The lanes that MGK is filling are all on different directions if you know what I mean. From country to pop rock to grung to rap to r&b to “drill” style raps. I think between the two, MGK is more diverse with his artistic ability but he isn’t the first but may be one of the most versatile we’ve seen. Tory is killer and crazy talented too tho. I just don’t think his range of sound and music quite compares to MGK.
