So my husband is definitely #1. His classic phrase for UNC Tarheels was “GET HIM OUT OF THE GAME ROY!!!” Now he says Coach Davis is “too soft on the boys” in his coaching methods. 😂
I’ve inherited the gift of talking to the coach and players via the tv from my dad and honestly, not mad about it😂

This was so fun! Loved this style for a once in every while vid! My dad ALWAYS would fall asleep on our hardwood floor in front of the TV directly in front of the wall heater.
My dad is 75. He has the TV, sound bar, surround sound, and some other random ass remote. All is well if only he touches them, but if I try to change the channel and grab the wrong remote and change something….have mercy on everyone’s soul, lol
Long story short, just ask dad if you want to change from one game to another.

As a 40yo old mom, I just learned I have Dad tendencies. 😂
Should clarify, I do not make noises when getting up, but every Sunday I stand in front of the tv, force the family to watch football while sharing my opinions with the tv & when Redzone signs off I button mash the remote to change stations and usually need assistance.

Speaking of superstition, my dad got a 20-30's era replica football(real leather) that he unconsciously tosses hand to hand. If he doesn't have his ball with him during a Razorbacks game he needs to grab it before kick/tip off!

Speaking of commenting about being on the pod. I think it would be fun to have a segment about how we found Jake and Brad. I know my story is kind of interesting though I doubt it’s totally unique.
Loved the new video and different format!! It’s more relaxed but just as entertaining! And the one thing my dad needs is either chips or popcorn. He has a salty tooth for those snacks.

It’s not the dad that says ll those things about football but it’s me the mom😂. But my husband is the same age as Brads dad and he loves to sit on the floor🤷🏼♀️. My kids make fun of me for watching and coaching football 🏈.😂

So it’s just my sister and I, and I’ve always enjoyed watching football with my dad, bc it was a way to get time with him, and the game is really excited to watch! Whereas I feel like basketball, for example, is much more exciting in person than on TV.
Anyways, now I’ve loved watching football with my hubz! I only wish more ladies did, I think that it’s really sad that men almost make it impossible for women to watch football? As if women watching football is like sacrilegious to the tradition of it or something? Idk that’s the vibe I get from the football community as a whole, to be clear, not specifically from you guys. Though it sounds like Brad’s dad did make his mom do “chores” while he watched football? Don’t super love that as a feminist, but love you guys, though! Don’t be like your dad, Brad!!!!❤

For the record, I’m pretty sure it’s a RUclips algorithm thing- your guys’ stuff used to come up higher up on my subscriptions when you’d put up new videos, but now you’re So far back I have to go looking! (Recently turned off all RUclips notifications, so I’m now seeing how the algorithms work without them.)
