I watch all your videos, but this is my first comment ever. Milky was all I wanted for my 7th Birthday in 1977. I got it and was over the moon happy. I milked the crap outta that cow.😂

I just have to tell you two, my Dad whittled those little baskets from the walnuts probably 30-40 years ago. He had 8 children so we all had them on our Christmas tree each year. He’s been gone 7 years now. We lost him right before his 97 birthday. But those baskets bring back precious memories of him. Thanks for reviving those memories.
I saw one on ebay with carved toothpick flowers...adorable!!
They are amazing I would love to find some to buy.
My Dad would be thrilled to know people today liked the little baskets he whittled all those years ago. He made his own wires from copper to hang them with.

When you're dealing with vintage farm toys like the Ertl wagon, the thing to pay attention to is the wheels. The newer ones are plastic and worth less. The old ones are metal and rubber. If the toy has those, collectors will forgive the paint loss and still pay a good $$. Of course, wagons alone aren't the most collectible of the farm toys.

OMG Milky the Cow! I had one as a kid and it was my FAVORITE toy! You fill the the trough with water, push her head into the trough, pump her tail and she drinks the water. Then you put these little white tablets into the udder part and when you milk her the water comes out white! So wild that I remember all that! So fun!
I forgot the best part! When she's full she lifts her head and moos! ha!
Ahhh, wow! Super cool someone could give them some more correct info on the milky cow! That was a HUGE score! Kayla has such a great eye for items she thinks will bring in the big bucks to turn around and find out she scored a great find . The excitement you can just see is written all over her face! Love that for her!! Would be super cool to get your hands on an old toy you played with as a child many years later and just purchase to have a story to tell to the grandkids !?!? That'd definitely be awesome to share ❤🥰

Hey, tip for you two. Soak troll's hair in fabric softener and leave it for bit. Brush out with wide tooth comb and then rise and let dry. Just did a 50 year old Mama Beans doll and it did wonders on her hair.
As an expert crocheter, those blankets can be washed in regular warm water wash with any kind of Oxy. It looks like regular acrylic yarn. It can even be dried in the drier. I have dogs and the blankets come out fine but yes, the dog hair weaves in 😂

Just a tip: use keyword Taxidermy on the driftwood. They use that size piece for birds & small animal displays.

I had a Dam troll in the mid-60s when I was about 10. I was a good little girl, and was pretty scandalized by that, even though I knew it wasn't the correct spelling for "damn".

Use white vinegar with your detergent to get odors out. You can buy dryer balls fo help remove pet hair as well.

I agree. I love his whole demeanor. He's a real man. Strong and sort of silent type. I love how he lights up a little when he's with Kayla. They compliment each other well. I love when he says, "You want that?" And he whips out his wad of cash and pays for the duffle bag. It's very masculine. ☺️ He's come alive since moving on from his previous marriage. So happy for him.

I have the original milking cow from the 50's. She is made with real cow hide/hair and she's still new in the box, never has been played with.

I’ve been there one time trying to get a blanket free of dog hair! Didn’t notice it when I picked it up. Got home and spent so much time trying to get that dog hair out of it because it sold right away. Then I got a raving, good feedback! I was so thankful.
Ahhhh.... I loved my milky the cow. If only had all my toys back. They were actually little tablets not powder... think those might have been crushed up. When her head popped up she moo'd, so cool to see.
My grandma had walnut "baskets" (ribbon, not a handle) that she made into birds' nests for the Christmas tree. Sweet memories.

You can get dog smell out of blankets pretty easily w Gain original scent laundry soap(extra soap in wash) w Gain scent blasters added in then gain dryer sheets in the dryer. I've got 4 large dogs and that's what I do and it works every time. The dryer sheets also help get out dog hair

I handle a lot of old quilts and T-shirts to make quilt repairs and new quilts from up-cycling. I use Distild Vinegar. I soak them and then wash them. I have had to do them two times, but double washing was not often. For dog/cat hair sprayed static clean in the dryer to help remove the hair. That worked really well. Thank you for all you share.

I would have taken a chance on the afghan, washed it in vinegar and tumbled it in the dryer on warm heat and then cool until all the dog hair was gone. I raise dogs, and clip their hair weekly, getting dog hair all over what im wearing and the worst is forgetting to not wear a bra bec it gets stuck in a bar worse than anything. I always use vinegar, my stuff i use in my welping boxes for the dog smell & my dog cleaning liquid soap that i use to pray in the welping boxes to clean them, then tumble dry on low heat, cleaning the lint filter out about every 10 mins and it works every time.

Im pretty sure the pillows were a homemade project for someone. The walnut baskets can be used to make Christmas ornaments. I did that when I was a child. Great finds today, guys!!!!

I've seen people do a one trip around the store, picking quickly. Then they look up items and put back what they don't want.
The floral print on those pillows looks like the vintage Lauren Ralph Lauren Sophie Brooke's pattern. Someone may have reurposed them from a previous bedding set. 💕

So this is 2 months late, but just now watching. If you haven't done anything with the driftwood I'd suggest air plants. You can glue them to the wood as long as you don't cover the roots. Looks very cool!

I did look it up and it is indeed Brooke from Ralph Lauren. I had that set years ago. Beautiful and still very desirable.
Also very similar to Vintage Victorian style as well. Seen a lot of RL floral & gingham but nothing like kayals. Hers look more handmade imo with the dangle bead style on the sides. Regardless, very pretty and unique style/print

I was told by a GW employee that the auctions haven’t been great and in our region they were told to start pushing some good stuff to the floor:) Maybe it’s national and not just regional? I’m guessing it’s only temporary until GW figures out another way.
