It baffles me that this game have Harley Quinn get over the Joker who her obsession influenced her after his death that she would get with Joker Infected and still blamed Batman for Joker and the infected deaths yet she somehow offscreen no longer believes that Batman killed joker despite nothing new to to change her mind on the topic and thinks he’s a good guy who wants to help the Villains he puts away yet she still spiteful killed him? This story feels like it was written people who didn’t pay attention at all to the Arkham games before writing it.

Not to mention that during lois lane’s appearances on the big screens in the game looks like an emotionless robot. While the actress is doing a good job with conveying her emotions during her line deliveries, the model does not do a good job of syncing with her deliveries whatsoever, that they were fucking lazy and decided to not have Lois Lane’s game model emote. So when she sounds like she’s being sorrowful, her model’s expression is like “I don’t have a soul”.

I would rather saw my balls off then to go through this (similar) trauma again. If this game ever comes free to play on PS4, I'd take 10% off the reason to play it, If not, I'll have to work harder on my time machine to save Kevin Conroy AFTER I have dealt with my personal mission.
At first the game seemed exciting until you actually play more than an hour than you start realizing how atrocious it really is. Such a failure and such a wasted opportunity. This game is the epitome of a “what could’ve been”. They truly could have used this as another section of the Arkham verse, had melee, made the characters different, and really made story type dlc similar to Arkham knight using their season methods. It really could have been something special lasting years but they had to use SBI and infect it with a bunch of DEI, garbage mechanics, and each character being nearly exactly the same.
I honestly believe the ending rant about how rocksteady should be in arkham asylum is a bit...misfired? if that is the word for it, because even if i dont condone what happened with this game, and what rocksteady let get past, they arent entirely who you should go after. Let me introduce you to sweet baby inc, you may, or may not have heard of them, but to catch you up, they insert politics into big publisher games, heck, sometimes even indie games. I say this because they had a hand in this games creation as well, and, if past practice is anything to go by. not intentionally. you see sweet baby is the sorta company that threatens to blackmail big companys if they dont listen to what they want, even sending death threats in alot of cases, so, by all means, dont shoot the victim, shoot the killer.
WB games have shown they know how to make good arkham games, even Gotham Knights is better than this actual steaming pile of dogshit. Rocksteady are replacable, and I genuinely hope they don't recover from this.

When WB tossed Suicide Squad on the laps of Rocksteady, he saw the chance to do so. You can find ex developers who talked about it in Jason Schrier's expose. We can blame WB for not giving us an Arkham sequel instead, but we can happily blame the founder of Rocksteady for SSKTJL.
Something I noticed is the widespread gaslighting that goes on, even among fans, whenever people call out for example, white male characters being reduced and humiliated, as if people were too stupid to recognise that it's being done on purpose and with open hatred. While I don't think it's the same everywhere, and I do prefer when characters are not treated based on their sex or skin colour but by inner qualities (something that many modern Devs and Hollywood seem to disagree with), where there's smoke, there's fire, and while some willingly close their eyes to such truths, I feel more and more people are clearly getting tired of this phenomenon. When those clamouring for racial and sexual justice and equality are being the most racist and sexist without even hiding it, getting offended that people call them out. Great to see another video from you even if the subject matter is one so disheartening, and I'm saying this as a general video game enthusiast, since I never played this series of games. Thank you for being a breath of fresh air and one without yelling or hate. Looking forward to the next!

At First I was skeptical that the Justice League would be killed by the Suicide Squad but I thought WB mislead us and that they would Unbrainwashed later, but then when they Announced that this will be connected to the Arkham Series I was one of the few people who saw the Red Flags, then Kevin Conroy passed away and this would have been one of the Last Roles(with Crisis Part 3 seemingly being his Final Role), and don’t get me started on the multiple Delays for 3 Goddamn Years, the Shooting Mechanic, and the Live Server B$, I knew that this would be not just a Bad Game, but a Insult to DC and Arkham Fans that would have loved to see Rocksteady make either a Superman, Batman Beyond, or Justice League Game but now it’s clear that the Original People behind the Arkham Games have left and are given the Keys to New People that don’t understand what they’re doing that would lead this Once Great Company into Bankruptcy in the Most Distasteful and Distasteful Way Possible, Nobody in their Right Minds would want a Game that you killed off Some of your Favorite Heroes in Cold Blood, the Live Server Shooter Angle is a Terrible Game for a DC Game, the Only Good Character is King Shark, I like Deadshot but his Anger with Green Lantern is Dumb as Hell, this is the Wrost Harley Quinn played by Tara Strong I didn’t like, Captain Boomerang is the Worst Character in the Game, Lex is more Enjoyable than Waller, the Child Negret is pathetic, Ivy was a Weird Addition to ripoff the Guardians of the Galaxy More, the Graphics are a Major Downgrade to the Arkham Games especially when Knight was pure Perfection even if the Game is Overrated, the Side Characters are Boring, and is just Depressing and Not in a Good or Enjoyable Way when you Play or Watch, all I can Say is that MK1 and Spider-Man 2 are far better than this Abomination that I wish was Cancelled completely, this Game makes me want to play Injustice 2, Multiversus, and MK1 all at Once and I want this New Rocksteady to go Bankrupt.

Not to mention that during lois lane’s appearances on the big screens in the game looks like an emotionless robot. While the actress is doing a good job with conveying her emotions during her line deliveries, the model does not do a good job of syncing with her deliveries whatsoever, that they were fucking lazy and decided to not have Lois Lane’s game model emote. So when she sounds like she’s being sorrowful, her model’s expression is like “I don’t have a soul”.

Personally I see this as an example of positive political ideas being misunderstood and bastardized by a greedy corporation yet again.
At first the game seemed exciting until you actually play more than an hour than you start realizing how atrocious it really is. Such a failure and such a wasted opportunity. This game is the epitome of a “what could’ve been”. They truly could have used this as another section of the Arkham verse, had melee, made the characters different, and really made story type dlc similar to Arkham knight using their season methods. It really could have been something special lasting years but they had to use SBI and infect it with a bunch of DEI, garbage mechanics, and each character being nearly exactly the same.

I honestly believe the ending rant about how rocksteady should be in arkham asylum is a bit...misfired? if that is the word for it, because even if i dont condone what happened with this game, and what rocksteady let get past, they arent entirely who you should go after. Let me introduce you to sweet baby inc, you may, or may not have heard of them, but to catch you up, they insert politics into big publisher games, heck, sometimes even indie games. I say this because they had a hand in this games creation as well, and, if past practice is anything to go by. not intentionally. you see sweet baby is the sorta company that threatens to blackmail big companys if they dont listen to what they want, even sending death threats in alot of cases, so, by all means, dont shoot the victim, shoot the killer.

We can blame WB for not giving us an Arkham sequel instead, but we can happily blame the founder of Rocksteady for SSKTJL.

Something I noticed is the widespread gaslighting that goes on, even among fans, whenever people call out for example, white male characters being reduced and humiliated, as if people were too stupid to recognise that it's being done on purpose and with open hatred.
While I don't think it's the same everywhere, and I do prefer when characters are not treated based on their sex or skin colour but by inner qualities (something that many modern Devs and Hollywood seem to disagree with), where there's smoke, there's fire, and while some willingly close their eyes to such truths, I feel more and more people are clearly getting tired of this phenomenon. When those clamouring for racial and sexual justice and equality are being the most racist and sexist without even hiding it, getting offended that people call them out.
Great to see another video from you even if the subject matter is one so disheartening, and I'm saying this as a general video game enthusiast, since I never played this series of games. Thank you for being a breath of fresh air and one without yelling or hate. Looking forward to the next!
