Endoscope cleaned very well and we make sure that there no debris. But when we are hanging the endoscope after all required steps of washing, bile is coming from inside after sometimes. Why? Cleaning is not effective or endoscope is damaged?? But sure there is no debris during washing and after washing also. This is happening after sometimes when we are hanging on the stand.
If there is bile coming out of endoscope after cleaning please do not use until problem is properly resolved. This may happen if endoscope is not being wiped down/flushed immediately after procedure and/or CSP technicians are waiting too long to clean. Please make sure if endoscopes are not being immediately cleaned that they soak in proper detergent such as Intercept to avoid hardening of proteins which may result in bile draining out of distal end of endoscope even though it has been "cleaned".
If air is leaking from end of endoscope please do not use until leak is repaired. Endoscopes can receive internal tears from physician/technician accidentally opening instruments during removal from instrument channel. Please send out for repair before further use.

Hello Austin, actually he has brown gloves on although I agree it does look bare handed. If you look carefully you'll see he has proper PPE on.
