Great video! Meaningful information, useful screen text, no filler or messing around, and the background music was not intrusive and also suited the calm presentation style.
Nice video bud! My wife is currently on step 6. It's been very profitable putting the sets back together and selling them, but of course very time consuming.
Tennessee Picker thanks!! Means a lot. Great to see you over here checking out my channel 😅. Hope to keep uploading more content in 2019, and hope to see more videos from you too!!
Nice. The new in opened box ones are always nice to find. It'll be a lot of tedious mindless work to sort through them 😅. Hopefully you find some nice minifigures!!
Your video came up on top. I was wondering if people bother with whole sets. I found out iblove sorting and building them. Also my kids break it apart faster than i build them. I recently got my first bulk of 10 pounds and will try getting something out of them beforebi buy more😅
I am an enthusiast first. I collect some City, Starwars and speed champs. What I do is I get the bulk. Do an initial sort into 5 piles, Trash, printed/stickered piece, Large pieces, minifigs, general bulk. I also set aside any prebuilt chunks to help determine what sets I might have. From there we wash. Once washed I will do a secondary sort of the bulk to put them in my storage system, which is by type of brick until I get too many, then I break those down by color. From there I look up the instructions for the sets I think I have, and start building out the ones I want the most to complete first ( Just incase there is part carry over, id rather short hand a set I do not like ) As I build these sets, I take note of missing parts. If by the end of sorting and building I do not find those missing parts, I order them from bricklink to complete the sets. Sets that fit into my collections I keep, sets that do not, or I might already have I will sell as complete with no instructions or box. Minifigs that are not basic, will get sold. Basic minifigs will get set aside for a future city build. Starwars minifigs are my favorite. I collect the ships, not the minifigs and often times you can make back a substantial chunk of your spend with one or two minifigs. The remainder of the bulk sits in storage to complete future sets and mocs.
Thank you! Haha yeah, outside of the minifigures...sorting through a lot of Legos is no fun. Love your channel, so means a lot that you’re here. Thanks for watching!!
Thanks for watching Duane! I've mostly sourced from local selling apps like Facebook Marketplace. I scored a big bin once at a yard sale, but only that one time.
Jake I’ve gotten one storage bin at a garage sale in the past for a good deal. But I find the best deals on local selling platforms like Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.
Hey man, would you be interested in buying some of my old mini figure pieces. I have a lot but I cannot be bothered piecing them together😂. Was wondering if it would be any help to you
Baskets I’ve got the Lego cusoo Delorean( complete). I’ve got Jabba the huts palace (complete) and the rancor pit (complete). I’ve also got hogwarts’ castle (missing 2-3 pieces) : the one with minifigures and NOT microfigures. I have a few more as well, but they’re my big sets. I’ve got loads of mini figures too, because I used to get the bags of them when I was younger. If you’re interested, let me know👍🏽
Hi , idk if anyone is gonna see my comment but I want to sell all of the legos I got as a kid but I'm missing some pieces from the different sets, so what should I do ?
Thank you @hickory springs ! Hopefully my video was clear enough and helped you learn something about legos. Looking forward to watching updates on how your transition to full-time reselling goes! Wishing you the best
Hey Josh, thanks for subscribing! Do you mainly sell on EBay? If so, what’s your eBay store?? I am looking for more platforms. I subscribed back! Good video
The plural of Lego is Lego, if you are going to make a video on selling them at least get the lingo correct. Legos sounds horrible and something my 3 year old would say.
@@Josh-Kim it could be that im from the UK, it just sounds wrong! I sell a lot of Lego and your guide almost fits with how I do things. I sell mixed bags and manage to shift quite a few, the competition is increasing every year which is squeezing the profit out of them.
Learning more and more about Lego every day. Lego is apparently the plural form of lego, so sorry if that bothers any Lego pros out there!
Great video! Meaningful information, useful screen text, no filler or messing around, and the background music was not intrusive and also suited the calm presentation style.
Thank you!
When he says how much time you want to spend. Lol I have 86lbs of LEGO and it’s Rona season.
Love the organization and thought behind making this video simple and to the point. Thanks Josh.
Thanks so much for watching! I actually stay away from bulk loose Lego like this now hahah 😅 It's way too time consuming and tedious for me now.
Nice video bud! My wife is currently on step 6. It's been very profitable putting the sets back together and selling them, but of course very time consuming.
Thanks man! Kudos to her, because it's definitely a time consuming task. Definitely worth it for someone who enjoys Legos though!
Great video! Very informative and simple to follow. I really enjoyed it. Thanks Josh.

Love your videos! I’ve been selling Legos and they are like plastic Gold! No matter the competition legos will sell..
Thank you @David Hart !! Really means a lot. And yeah, there's definitely money to be made in Legos!
Great video Josh!!!!!!!!!! Mamma loves you!!! 💜💜💜💜
Thank you!! 💕Means a lot!
Great idea! I already had text blaze so glad to start using it!!!
Getting a $175 Huge Bin of Lego tomorrow 🤙🤙
Comes with 5 new in opened boxes and a big ol Bin with lots of books 😁😁😁 Im stoked.
Nice. The new in opened box ones are always nice to find. It'll be a lot of tedious mindless work to sort through them 😅. Hopefully you find some nice minifigures!!
@@Josh-Kim The lady showed me in the pic that they Tediously organized it all after using it. (repacked into new bags) So fingers crossed there hHa

Great video Josh! I can see the extra mile on the editing
Thanks John!! Appreciate it 😅
Great, I just wished you talked about if you should have auctions or if you should have like "fixed" prices or whatever.

Pretty good information you've done your homework good keep up the good work
Good advice Josh! I bought a lot before because I saw a bunch of figures... Knew that would pay for it. BUT it's not fun lol.

Hahah thanks! Loose Lego is so time consuming and tedious to sort through 😂😅
Nice tutorial, need to keep my eyes open for lego lots.

Hi Josh,
Very interesting video. My only question is where do you find huge lots of Leggos to buy?
Thanks,
Duane

Where do you buy your Legos? Do you just find them at garage sales or thrift stores? Or do you buy them on eBay?

Is $5 per pound of mixed legos a good deal to buy for resale?
Good advice.
Hi , idk if anyone is gonna see my comment but I want to sell all of the legos I got as a kid but I'm missing some pieces from the different sets, so what should I do ?
Thanks for the info buddy👏👍

Very creative content 💕 first video I've ever watched about #legos 😎

very helpful
Is getting shipping labels from eBay better for saving money?
Hey. Yeah. Ebay labels are cheaper than getting them from the post office. I would also look into pirateship.com for discounted labels too
@@Josh-Kim thank you!
I have 9 year Lego collection to sell I'm sorting the colors and the figures and tools/weapons I hoping I will get more then a thousand
Step #1 should be sourcing the Legos, which is the information I need. Where are you getting your inventory?
Mostly garage sales, thrift stores, and local marketplaces like Facebook or OfferUp
Cheap lego is everywhere. If you cant do step one by yourself you have no hope in the other steps..
Was the song please some let me know so good
The song info should be in the video description!
Can you get license from lego to be able to sell their minifigures with your own moc set?
I have no idea about that, unfortunately!
Great video
Very Very helpful info. I love separating all the tire and tan parts to sell. Also anything with a sticker or writing on it.
Thanks for watching! I actually stay away from bulk loose Lego like this now. It's too time consuming and tedious to sort hahah
its kinda annoying seeing all these sets that my brother broke to be worth that much
sadly in my family I was the annoying brother
Hey Josh, thanks for subscribing! Do you mainly sell on EBay? If so, what’s your eBay store?? I am looking for more platforms. I subscribed back! Good video
The Thrift Team thanks! And appreciate you subbing back. My Ebay store is “jksellagain” . You can find a link to it in my latest two videos 😁
