I normally clean my fretboard every string change, i normally change strings about every 3-4 months, also clean the body etc
I also normally change strings off that schedule if i have a show, i change about a week before the show so they have break in time

That's ideal, really. Some people don't clean their stuff and it is so gross

That's one thing I really try to keep up on. I have clammy hands. And it's very hard on strings. Probably the fretboard too. So I use Tone Finger easy after nearly every use. Unless I only play for a few minutes. And Guitar honey every so often. Especially if it looks dry. It's seems the darker the wood. The more it needs oil. And the more it absorbs. My maple necks don't take it in as much. I also keep them stored in a temp and humidity controlled room. What I'm not sure is at what humanity? I've been at 55% lately. I tried 50% and it seems to dry on the boards. And 60% seems damp feeling in the air

That is a whole other world I don't quite understand either. Especially in Nebraska, it's humid then dry every other day. There's no way to keep on top of it
