DIMAX ZERO eliminates the the CO2 rebreathing thanks to separated INSP and EXP ports: fresh gasses enter the mask through the inspiratory port while the expired flow, full of CO2, leaves the mask via the expiratory outlet.
By reducing the CO2 rebreathing, we reduce the patient’s WOB, RR and fatigue, greatly decreasing the intubation occurrence.
