I don't know if anybody out here cares, but I want to tell you a short story. I'm going to be 14 years old soon. When I was like 6 years old, my brother, my sister and I used to play Guitar Hero Live. My brother always played Lived A Lie, because he loved the song. Years passed, things happened. I always thought about this song, it made me feel happy, unstoppable and alive again, even if I didn't remember the name. When I was like 10, I finally found it, and fell in love again. All these memories with all these songs. The point is: You Me At Six is the band that guides me through life, even if it wasn't always easy. And yeah, I'm crying right now. Hoping that maybe, yeah maybe things will be the same again
Not me crying on the train home watching this... 😭 I've listened to you guys since I heard Stay With Me for the first time growing up; I feel so lucky to have had a chance to see you guys live (and meet you 7 years ago!) - I'll always have a YMAS shaped hole in my heart but I know I'll always by a Sixer for life 💔❤️

Sat here sobbing like the 11 year old I was when I first heard you guys. I was putting a mirror onto a screw when it slid and a massive shard of metal went through my index finger. I remember my mum putting on Underdog and Liquid Confidence on RUclips to distract me whilst she pulled it out. Became my favourite band instantly. I’ve listened to you nearly every day since that night. Forever my boys. So grateful to have met you a few times. Most recently when you were on the One Ok Rock open slot in Orlando ‘22 when I was on holiday. Each of you gave me your full attention (Max and Dan especially) for ages and I couldn’t be prouder to support such nice lads. Can’t put into words how much I love you boys and how devastated I am. Sixer for Life… booking a VI tattoo as we speak❤️

i first saw you in concert when you were touring together with Paramore back in 2009. i was 17 at that time, and i went to the show in Stockholm specifically to see you guys. i also saw you in London in 2012, and when you came back to Stockholm in 2014. it made me happy to see a snippet in the video of the album signing you did then. i'm sorry to say that i haven't been keeping up with your releases for the past couple of years, but the news of your disbandment still fills me with sadness. i will always cherish the memories i have of listening to your music and seeing you in concert. your music made a big impression on me as a teenager and helped shape me as a person into my adult years. i will be trying to get tickets for the final tour, so i can say goodbye and thank you guys properly for everything. much love, Car 💜
