Hi Jason, You're an awesome neighbor. I've heard it said you will be rewarded seven fold in the next life for good deeds done in this life. You and the family stay safe.
You are good person, with a big heart, the kind of neighbor that most people do not have. God bless. Love your saw mill and that your using timber from a fire. Thousands of board feet of timber burned in ID, Oregon and Calif, durning July/Oct 2021, hope they can salvage some of it. Great video.
If more people like you would treat thy neighbor like you do there probably would be a home in the country for sale. It’s very rarely anymore to find a great home with great friendly neighbors. Great job.. And not to change the subject away from you. Man I could use a few nice logs like you have in that pile.. lol Great video.
Thank you! I got to thinking, when I lived in town, I don’t know that I felt as compelled to help my neighbors. There’s just too many of them!😬 country life makes better neighbors I think.
Nice pump house, I have to build one myself next year. Speaking from experience I would recommend putting tar paper under the tin roofing because it will sweat on the bottom of the roofing and drip on everything and just piss you off.
I didn’t. It ended up turning into a situation where I needed to get it done quickly because weather was coming and didn’t have time to film the process.
Jason, I hv a question- I thought wood was not supposed to be in contact with ground. With the amount of rain you get, how is this building going to last? In my area, termites would chomp thru it mighty quick.
I was watching Nathan from otw the other day and said he uses diesel to lube his blade and keep it pitch free. Just wondering what your thoughts are about blade lube and why. As always good luck and God Bless.
Nice stuff man! Quick question... how far is your farthest faucet from your pressure tank? Putting my pressure tank about 120 ft from my farthest faucet, but not sure if pressure will hold?
Thank you! This is actually my neighbor’s house but on my well, my house is almost 300’ from my pressure tank. No issues with pressure but my tank is also close to 40’ higher in elevation.
Sorry! It took a couple months for my neighbor to get the insulation he wanted to use and by that time, I was in a race against weather so I didn’t have time to film it.
And like a good neighbor Jason is there.🎶 Great job Jason, thumbs up.
“What are you wearing, Jason from next door?”
“Uhhh, khakis” 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you, Craig!
Man's livin the dream. Can't wait until im in the same shoes.
Great looking lumber too! Can't beat it!
I love to see neighbors help out each other and live good with each as God intended it to be. Keep up the good work.

It’s a regular variety show!😬
God bless you for being such a blessing to your neighbors!! You are a testimony to how God tells us to live!!! 👍🌟😍
Thank you, Dianne. I’m just an atheist who does this because it’s the right thing to do. 😉
@@NorthwestSawyer Well, I'm very sorry to hear that you're an atheist.

Thank you!
I always love to see your videos show up! Keep up the good work.
Thank you! I look forward to making them!👍👍
Very nice of you. Looking at the white building beyond the saw I noticed it might benefit from a few pieces of siding.
Siding is expensive…😬 I have some big things coming up regarding that old building. Stay tuned!
Hi Jason,
You're an awesome neighbor. I've heard it said you will be rewarded seven fold in the next life for good deeds done in this life. You and the family stay safe.
Thank you, Don!
You're a good neighbor kind Sir.
Board an baton would look great on the shed with the flower on it? Keep up the good work.
Thank you, Mark! That building will definitely need some work soon.
Oh to be your neighbor. To have a Woodmizer and the willingness to use it for your Neighbor's good. #GoldenRule
You are one thoughtful and talented fellow! Another great video. Thanks Jason.
Thank you, Anthony!
Great job. You’re a good man. Thanks for sharing. God Bless.
good for you, nice to see people helping their neighbors out! Happens a lot in OK, glad to see it happening up NW!
Great videos!!!!! I mostly like seeing you helping a neighbor is time of need! More people need to do the same.
Thank you, Ron!

I’m going to be putting rigid foam insulation up soon. On the sides as well.
There you go again, Jason. Doing something for someone else. You're a good man. It's looking great so far. Will it need to be heated? Take care.
Bill
You are right, Bill!! If more people were like him, this world would be a great place!!!
It’ll be insulated so a heat lamp should cover things as far as our winters go.
Rather Neighborly of ya to do that!
Ha ha.....sorry, I laughed too hard about the shovel, but I feel like I would have done the same damn thing!
I couldn’t edit it out🤓
👍
Looks good so far , when is the next installment happening?
Soon, thank you. My neighbor installed rigid insulation so I need to finish the metal sides and door.
Soon, thank you. My neighbor installed rigid insulation so I need to finish the metal sides and door.
“cheap” if you have thousands $$$ of equipment, but you are a good neighbor
I'm doing a well house right now also! Hope to drop the video this weekend. Mine is a bit more your BBQ shelter style if ya know what I mean :)
Ohhhhh, fancy😬
@@NorthwestSawyer not so much fancy, but for sure big timber!
😛
@@slamsshenanigans2296 well, let me know when the video is up!
@@NorthwestSawyer part 1 is up! Let me know what you think 😉
Did you ever record part 2 of this build?
I didn’t. It ended up turning into a situation where I needed to get it done quickly because weather was coming and didn’t have time to film the process.
great video…thanks for the terrific content! quick question, any concern with the wood base and ground contact?
Thank you! Those 4x12s are pressure treated and should last for a long time.
Northwest Sawyer makes sense…thanks!
Jason, I hv a question- I thought wood was not supposed to be in contact with ground. With the amount of rain you get, how is this building going to last? In my area, termites would chomp thru it mighty quick.
The 4x12 timbers I used as the foundation have been pressure-treated to resist rot and insects. I salvaged them from one of my job sites last year.
I was watching Nathan from otw the other day and said he uses diesel to lube his blade and keep it pitch free. Just wondering what your thoughts are about blade lube and why. As always good luck and God Bless.
Thank you, Mark! I’ve never cut anything that couldn’t be handled by a little Pine-Sol and dish soap.
Was the base secured to the ground somehow??
I used pressure treated lumber around the base that was partially backfilled with gravel. Nothing actually anchored.
Who caught the reversal at 4:25?
I did! There’s a reverse clip in almost every one of my videos.
How much was it to have well setup and tank installed like that?
This was my neighbor’s well. All of this was setup after the wildfire and insurance probably covered it. I doubt my neighbor knows what it cost.
Where is part two?
Sorry! It took a couple months for my neighbor to get the insulation he wanted to use and by that time, I was in a race against weather so I didn’t have time to film it.
@@NorthwestSawyer ok, lol. I was looking forward to part 2. God bless and thank you!

@@NorthwestSawyer ok thanks you always answer my questions this is why I like your channel

I have noticed that you are wearing a mask while milling more often. Why?
The sawdust is starting to bother my lungs. Almost like allergies. Especially cedar which I’ve heard from several people can cause lung injuries.
Question? When well needs to be worked on, how on earth will that happen? Will have to dismantle the whole structure?
I put a removable hatch on the roof above the well.
