Gdańsk is a historic city located on the Baltic Sea coast in northern Poland. It was founded in the 10th century and has a rich cultural and architectural heritage. The city is renowned for its picturesque Old Town, with its colorful facades and Gothic buildings like the iconic St. Mary's Church. Visitors can explore historic sites such as the medieval Gdańsk Crane and the Westerplatte, where World War II began. The Solidarity Movement, which played a significant role in Poland's fight for freedom, also originated in Gdańsk. The city offers a vibrant atmosphere, excellent museums, delicious cuisine, and a bustling waterfront along the Motława River.

One of the most beautiful cities in Poland? Possibly.. I haven't been to all, but top 3 off the top of my head is probably Kraków, Gdańsk, and Lublin. Warsaw is definitely uglier than dirt with the new skyscrapers scraping across the city and destroying any architectural heritage and culture the city may have once had.
