A season 2 of this wouldn't make sense, but a prequel to this would be nice. Show us how Ranko became a maid and how she became who she was. It's a long shot but I loved this show and would like something else.

In a way this anime gives me Cyberpunk Edgerunner feels... Quality characters being killed off left and right, and no time to mourn but to carry on. Cyberpunk describes a city where you can make it big and live out your dreams, and in Akiba Maid Wars you are lured with the prospect of fame and being a good maid, but looking from the outside both are death traps.

This original anime was so good. Everything was unexpected frim starting to ending. Wish they would have shown what happened to other maid members in the afterstory but they showed only Megumi.
Before watching the show I saw this scene 1:27 getting shared around and thought "gross, what's her problem" After watching the show I would eat some of that ramen with no hesitation.
I binged watch this anime 2 nights ago and still trying to recover from the loss of Ranko-Chan. Definitely on my top list of favorite anime. Bleach is my #1 favorite anime, which you put at the ending clip. I miss Ranko-Chan 🥹
