I genuinely hope everyone who disregard higashino in the pair reads this,,, as much as ik how amazing yuta is as a player, but if u play or really understand mix dbls u would know that it’s absolutely impossible to win with only one strong player, higashino’s speed and exceptional power play helps to make up for yuta’s weakness when it comes to strength as compared to other top players like dechapol/zsw/wyl. her speed throws the opp off and that gives yuta a decent lift to execute a stroke of his choice opening up his options. and to those who say yuta would achieve better with another player, I hope yk that this pair has been playing together since junior/senior high for over 10+ years, and they’re coordination with one another is not something any pair in the mix dbls have, she knows him so well and plays shots that are just the right ones for him, and yuta does just so vice versa for higashino, so stop pushing the blame on higashino everytime they lose, it rly doesn’t make sense. (I love yuta too don’t get me wrong I jst hate seeing higashino being blamed for stupid reasons)
