Qanba Gravity KS vs Sanwa Generation 1 Silent Buttons

rough comparison of Qanba Gravity KS vs Sanwa Generation 1 Silent Buttons. Qanba's let out a pinging noise. I'm using an IST Alpha 49S.... so no spring anywhere to be found on this stick...
I'll compare on full builds next week.

PEOPLE, TAKE IN ACCOUNT SPRING NOISE of QANBA GRAVITY KS demonstrated in this video. It appears AFTER you install buttons in case and they start to resonate with it or acrylic case cover - this sound IS VERY LOUD and very annoying at least in some cases - so loud what it ovelaps whole point of "silentness" and in facts making your stick/hitbox MUCH more louder than before.

I know this vid is old but did you ever lube the springs or do anything to mitigate the spring ping? I do some custom keyboard mods and usually lube completely eliminates ping. But I don't know how well it would work on the Omron switches in the Gravities beause they have a much larger spring.

I didn’t try any spring modification. I’m still just using these stock…. Still nice and pingey lol

@@Dex2R7 , FYI you can do the same mods on the Omron switch as you would a cherry style switch. I lubed the stem, and giant spring with 205g0. Eliminated the spring ping.

The spring ping is unfortunate, lube would help but that’s annoying..
