I really don't like people referring to this style as autotune. Actual autotune is much, much more subtle. This is just a type of stylistic vocal distortion which kinda sounds like really early poorly done autotune.
Honestly this song almost reminds me of some McCaffrety songs, like their style is clearly a parody of tfb but they're kinda more angsty and insecure with more rock vibes and this song kinda approaches that feeling

I listen to a lot more modern hip hop these days where auto tune is commonly used as a tool but I grew up listening to this band alot so I was stoked on the clever use of auto tune haha
