Just started playing recently and got this tank! I love it so far with the exception of the very slow turret traverse speed. My other issue since I am a noob is that I do not know where to go for the majority of the time
First of all, don't play light tanks or tank destroyers. Play heavy tanks. Heavy tanks have good armor and they can be forgiving. They will help you learn the basics of survival and then move on to the lights tanks. When the battle starts, watch the mini map and see where other players are going. Follow them to different positions and see what positions work for you. Not all positions work for a particular tank. So experiment. Positioning is the key. Always move to a good position. As you are new to the game, don't stress about stats or progression or top tier. Just enjoy the game. Hope this helps you. If you have any other questions let me know!
GMC can usually tank a shot or two. I usually use it as a half brawler and camper cuz if I play too offensive im dying in an instant. M10 is a really good tank, can usually pen other counterparts at the same br with a direct hit. I also flank with it sometimes. @@deathcaller
@@MaxLi27 The key to the M10 is sniper mentality. Slow methodical, and well thought out. Depending on who you are up against, you can adapt your play style because each country plays differently. The M10 sort of follows the same play style as the British tech tree. Slow, methodical and calculated. Also, a general rule of thumb is that you will lose many battles at first until you understand the strengths and weaknesses of your tanks. So long as you learn from your mistakes, you will get better.
Follow up comment to clarify things: American tech tree is a jack of all trades, master of none. German tech tree is decent at ambush and defensive gameplay. They feature decent guns, and okayish armor but not the best. Russian tech tree is good at rushing forwards, they usually rush middle and fan out from there. They usually feature decent armor and subpar guns. British is slow, methodical, but mediocre in some aspects. Their guns often have decent pen, range, but lack explosive filler. Their armor is decent at best. Don’t ask about the other tech trees. I do not yet fully understand their play styles so they are usually a wild card to me because I do not play them often enough.

My favorite part of this tank is the design that no matter where you get hit from, your gunner instantly dies. It’s a bold engineering move
The most essential vehicle from 3.3 to at least 4.7 in the US tree. Well done!!! You were getting around its various hindrances very well.

Most of the time I die its because I can't turn quick enough but that's the only down side
I can’t Hardly seem to get any kills with the m10. I get spotted and snipped literally across the map constantly.
It takes so long to move the barrel I hardly every get a kill even if I got the jump. I get picked off well before my barrel gets on target.
It has insane gun but weak armor sadly
