Soyeon is the leader of (G)I-DLE now so there is a fandom surrounding her, but I would like to ask to please be respectful to ALL the girls. they all did good and they have all said they have no hard feelings towards each other. this is a diss battle for a show so of course they're going to diss each other. They all did well so please be respectful of these ladies!

actually jeon soyeon is not that good at dissing ... she said herself that she couldn’t do diss rap at all before unpretty rapstar. but she is especially good in wordplay and writing rap, such that although the rap is not very insulting, it is like a really good pun in korean. and her flow + delivery is of course top notch

Because this video is now full of G-Idle stans or people who wanted to check on Soyeon's rapping, I just wanted to remind everyone how totally awesome this 4 did. Most of the battles here are one sided and atleast one makes a mistake at a point (minor or major) but in this battle they ALL SLAYED. This battle is legendary for me kudos to this 4 powerful queens.
AC I came for Grace and Soyeon but AshB and Nada did so well too. Overall, this was super enjoyable to watch and you could tell that they were having a lot of fun.

Yeah I totally agree. I remember her pd101 days when she also considered.herself as ugly cuz that's what people were telling her and I was like, "if u are ugly, then what is me then?" She's my 3rd fav in pd101 after yoojung and sejeong and I was so sad that she didn't made it to ioi. But am glad that she's doing great as a leader of the G idle
watching these shows always makes me wonder on WHY none of them debut into girls groups. From what I see today very few girl groups have a good and stable rappers and these girls in unpretty rap star and really good.

The reason why Nada and Soyeon appeared to be better is not necessarily because of their rap but because of the fact that they presented a united front. They backed the other up during their rap parts and worked together while you can see that Grace didn't want to work with Ash B and was wandering around in the back while Ash B was rapping. She did the bare minimum to support Ash B and stayed in the back, not wanting to get involved in this since she herself didn't get along with Ash B and was friends with Nada and Soyeon

Honestly, them teasing Soyeon for her age (which would imply lack of experience) didn't really work out when she had the Produce background, was a trainee, was praised for her flow/writing, and could compare with them. Honestly backfired a little but was kinda funny, she played it well
What i love so much about Soyeon here is that she had never used swear words or truly insulting things like Ash B had said.. she just pointed the facts hahaha anyway she was really a strong kid , at 18 already appeared in Intense rap Battle.. and her reaction to the cake being thrown was cute and kind , most teenagers would have cried or angry but she just laughed it off and notice how wasteful that those cakes were thrown away.. i am glad i stan this baby since Produce 101... Soyeon's performance here was undoubtely off the charts. It's a really a pity though that the diss battles are full of comments on people's appearance only. From where I come from, rap battles usually involve the rappers' skills instead

I like Grace but I feel like her rap lacked any kind of flow. There was no way she would win against Nada or Soyeon, especially when Soyeon is known for her impressive flow.
She explained it on her channel, she’s a singer, not a rapper. But she was still invited to join by mnet hahaha she lacks experience, but her songwriting skills and unique performances is what got her through up3 the most (based on the other contestants) it took her more than 5 episodes to be eliminated despite her lack of experience and popularity. Her nickname there is “zombie”, bec she always place 2nd or 3rd to last, which makes her subjected to elimination rounds. and every elimination performances, she bring something new to the table. I just rewatched up3 last night hahaha

Idk why people dont like ash b, for me she is one of the best rappers in this season. Her tone, her flow, and her stage presence are just very entertaining. The reason why Nada and Soyeon appeared to be better is not necessarily because of their rap but because of the fact that they presented a united front. They backed the other up during their rap parts and worked together while you can see that Grace didn't want to work with Ash B and was wandering around in the back while Ash B was rapping. She did the bare minimum to support Ash B and stayed in the back, not wanting to get involved in this since she herself didn't get along with Ash B and was friends with Nada and Soyeon

I like Grace but I feel like her rap lacked any kind of flow. There was no way she would win against Nada or Soyeon, especially when Soyeon is known for her impressive flow.
She explained it on her channel, she’s a singer, not a rapper. But she was still invited to join by mnet hahaha she lacks experience, but her songwriting skills and unique performances is what got her through up3 the most (based on the other contestants)
