Your cardigan is gorgeous Sandra and so neat. I love the colour choice especially the pink. That is a good tip to knit the sleeves as you go thank you. I love your blankets such beautiful bright colours.
Thank you so much! I must admit that’s the first time I’ve really worn it since I blocked it… wanted it to look nice for the podcast. I can get on with wearing it now. 😉
Absolutely gorgeous blankets, so bright and cheerful and that autumn yarn is a delight, can’t wait to see it knitted up. Take care and keep sharing your joy 🧶🌻🧵🍂
Lovely to begin the day with you! I drank my coffee and made progress on a stash buster - but WOW I loved seeing your work. The colors are delightful. The Bobbing Along blanket is so cheerful. The “incoming goodie” at the end, though, is positively mouthwatering- pecans, and brown sugar, some creme brulee. Yum. Take care, have fun.
Oh how lovely! Glad to be a part of it. ☺️ yes that yarn is so pretty isn’t it? I think I also need a yarn in every name you mentioned there, they sound like they’d all make delicious yarn! ❤️
Loved the podcast Sandra...I'm on my second whitmoor sweater in very similar colours to what you've bought, but mine is a commercial yarn...still lovely tho....it's a great pattern to work from. Your paper piecing is beautiful....what a wonderful quilt it will make.... 😊
Hi Sandra 🙂!! So lovely to see you again, and I hope you have been well. Looking forward to the pattern with the anemones, such beautiful colours. P.s. feel that hesitancy with Etsy pattern, and you're obvs doing your best, so yes... I will go th Ravelry! In the meantime, I have three(!) of your projects on hook and all to be finished within days or weeks of each other. Better get to it!! Hear the weather is pretty good over there, end of Summertime?... as we are heading into Spring here in Aus.🌼 Take care and best wishes, Lin.😊
Hi lovely! Yes we’re all keeping well here. Ahh it’s always satisfying to see those ‘almost there’ projects get done… when we get to them! 😉 Yes we’ve had a little blast of summer after a fairly dismal August. I think it’s our last hoorah before autumn proper. I love spring, before it gets to hot and everything bursting into life. It’s such a hopefully season. ☺️❤️
@@CherryHeart glad to hear all is well 🤗! Yay, *just now" finished the moonlit shawl (gift for a friend)! A slightly heavier than dk cotton, fab drape, perfect for cool spring mornings🍃 That's a terrific pattern Sandra! Cheerio for now.x
Thank you so much for explaining the Etsy site. I've experienced all the problems you've brought up and just thought it was me being a bit 'sad' with social media. It all makes sense now. So many lovely bits and pieces you've finished or working on. The paper piecing is stunning!
You are so welcome, it’s so silly the way they have it set up at the moment. So confusing and frustrating for everyone really. Don’t worry, you are definitely not alone in finding it so. Thank you so much!
Thank you for explaining that Etsy thing!!! I quit getting patterns on there because they would say they were downloaded but I couldn't open them! It said one time something was out of date and I looked that up and it was fine. I felt bad for the poor lady I was buying patterns from on there because she was always having to email me a PDF! I am totally in LOVE with that quilt! I am going to look and see if she just has the pattern for sale. Thanks so much for your channel I always enjoy it!
Oh no! Yes why Etsy doesn’t at least tell people why they can’t download their pattern is a crazy. It’s so annoying for everyone! Thanks for the kind words though and good idea to look for the pattern for the quilt. 👍❤️
Made my morning seeing a podcast from you in my in-box! The yarn you got is Lovely!!! Fall is my favorite season (pity I live somewhere that has 3 stages of summer then a month or two of cooler weather). I love the paper piecing that you are doing. I had never heard of it before you started this project. I'm, at the moment, finishing up a granny square bag. Then I have a bunch of languishing WIPs I need to get to... Something fun and exciting husband and I have been up to this past weekend, I was able to get some Billys from Ikea for my craft\book room. I'm taking a brake from all the re-organizing but I can not tell just how happy I am! Everything looks so much better and is better organized. Plus before I just had shelving that I could get so it was a little hodgepodge... that was definitely not working for me menially, plus my yarn was getting messed up... yeah, No!
Oh that’s kind, thank you!! Yes autumn is a beautiful month, although we probably are about the opposite of you and have 3 stages of winter! Sometimes we get a lovely autumn though, so fingers crossed. Very exciting about the craft room. Can’t beat a bit of organising and beautifying of all the lovely crafty things. So much easiest to see everything that you’ve got that way too. ❤️❤️
So happy I found you, just purchased the anemone pattern. Now I need to think about where I can find the yarn. Do you have any suggestions, I live in Austin Texas.
Absolutely gorgeous makes! I love your bobbing along blanket - the colours are so cheerful - and the new spice of life is just beautiful! Really interested to hear what you had to say about Etsy. I also sell patterns there (pdf downloads) and often get messages asking where the pattern is, or saying they’re having trouble downloading the pattern.. I never realised that the issue was with the app (I tend to just use it in a browser and don’t have the app)! That is really helpful to know but still super frustrating as like you say, it’s a lot of admin time responding to those messages! I hope Etsy sort that out soon as it would make a big difference. At least, it should be clearly explained in the app how to get the download if you can’t get it via the app. Anyway, thanks for a great podcast Sandra - I thoroughly enjoyed it ❤️🙂
Thanks so much!! Yes it’s frustrating with Etsy isn’t it? It took me a while to find out what the problem was too. It was only when someone sent me a screen shot of what they were seeing I realised it looked different and they were on a mobile. Then I started to search the Etsy help and sure enough, in the detail of how to download it mentions you can’t download using the app. 🙄 I hope they sort it out too. Fingers crossed. 🤞🤞
The size of the Bobbing Along a Rainbow blanket might also work well as a lap blanket, too. I sometimes throw a smaller blanket like that over my legs while sitting at my desk.
The sweater you knitted is lovely. Pretty colors that look so nice on you. The blanket is amazing. You make the most lovely things.😁🌸Idea about Etsy, maybe you could just put only corrections for free. So if someone buys the whole pattern any changes could be for free. Just an idea because Etsy is really tricky at times just to download a pattern. Really prefer Ravelry's system for crochet. Excited for your pattern!
Lovely to see you, the cardigan looks fabulous on you and can’t wait to see how you get on with the Whitmore ☺️ I don’t get on well with the Etsy app and totally understand what you mean Lou ❤️
Sandra, that quilt will be stunning! It’s just so impressive to see all of those blocks! Regarding Etsy, would it be worth putting a note in your shop announcements that when purchasing one of your patterns, please download from the Etsy website because the app doesn’t support digital downloads? It might help mitigate at least some of the frustrated emails! Enjoy your gorgeous new yarn. It looks like October in a skein 😊🍁🍂
I know, can’t quite believe it myself to be honest! 🤣. yes that’s a good idea for the shop. I thought I might go through and add to the listings too. Try and mitigate some of the issues at least! It can’t hurt. Yes can’t wait to get into it, I might wind it ready to go!
For updates to your patterns, can you add to the end or the beginning of the pattern that for any updates of any of your patterns ask them to please check your website periodically. Etsy is hard, can you set up your sales on your website?
That’s a good idea. I was thinking that, I guess some sort of errata page on my site would be a way to get round it I think that’s something I might have to do. I think there are ways I can have sales on my website but to be honest I haven’t had a chance to look into it let alone sort it out. Maybe when I have more time that would be an option. Although there is also digital VAT to consider, there are a lot of countries to comply to these days. Hard for one person to do! I appreciate the help though. 💕💕
Sandra you put yarns and colours together that look fantastic Your blankets are pretty and make my eyes so HAPPY🦋🐝
Oh thank you so much! ☺️😘😘
So lovely to see you back after the summer, with your lovely makes. And gorgeous cardy!
Everything you make and show is so sumptuous…….I just love everything that you do.
I always watch and enjoy your podcasts but never really comment. I love the tones of the colour palettes you choose, they are beautiful.
Well lovely to have you here and thank you so much! ❤️
Yes the Florence yarn is gorgeous!!! Such great fall colors, that will a lovely sweater. The sweater is amazing and I love the latest blanket. 🧶💕🧶
Watching your podcast while crocheting a border on my blanket...a wonderful start to my day. Thank you!
I love watching podcasts while I crochet too. Great way to start the day. Thank you. ❤️
Sandra your bobbing along blanket is gorgeous!!
Aw thanks so much lovely. ❤️

Love the cardigan without buttons and buttonholes Great colour choices♡
Absolutely gorgeous blankets, so bright and cheerful and that autumn yarn is a delight, can’t wait to see it knitted up. Take care and keep sharing your joy 🧶🌻🧵🍂

Lovely episode as always Miss Sandra! Thank you for the update on your Anenome blanket, I have been looking forward to it!
Thanks lovely! ❤️😘

Ha ha that’s how my sister got me too. They are nice to do aren’t they? ❤️
VERY VERY....BEATIFUL

love all of your work. I want to make the Aimee Cardi but could you give a good alternative for the yarn please.

❤️
Love to show you what I’m doing at the moment but can’t add a photo. I’m crocheting quilted squares.
Sounds good though. 👌❤️
so excited that painted anenomes is coming soon ... I've been holding a spot in my craft budget for it :-)
Oh bless you that’s so lovely. 🤗 So sorry it’s taking me so long!
What is that stand you have your blankets on?
Do you mean where they are sitting behind me? That’s just my sewing desk. It’s a small IKEA one. ❤️
Don't put it on etsy do you really need the stress when their are other options to purchase x
