0:23 Andrew doing bicep curls is underrated with the lightest weights while guys at my gym doing strict curls competition and having the shittiest biceps
You should as a Mr. Olympia ideally have the perfect statue-like Physique. Therefore. If two bodybuilders are comparable in muscle mass and quality, the taler man should win. If Andrew would win I think nobody could complain.
That makes no sense there's nothing inherently better about tall. Most only tall dude say that so your opinion carries little weight because y'all are such a small minority in the population.
The problem is that Andrew isn't as muscular for his frame as the other guys and his conditioning is nowhere near the top guys. Let's just make bodybuilding a height contest
@@colafarm1 Andrew has more pop than Derek and Samson from the front. I dont have him losing any front pose to Derek. its not about "height", its about how the muscles are distributed on the frame and the symetry of Samson and Andrew is hard to beat. I exclude Hadi because the quality he showed at the Arnold seems untouchable
Its not that short guys cant be aesthetic, martin or tonio have a realy good flow for example. I dont mind a short guy winning, but if someone looks like a block, thats not want people want to see. Another problem i see is the overobsession with glutes, like jay said. If condioning matters so much, they should look for the guy with the most details all around. How can someone win the Olympia who is only sharp in 2 body parts?
Across every division, Asian pros just seem to have great difficulty growing their backs. When we get an Asian pro who has mastered growing their back, theyll likely be a champion
its genetics unfortunately. we grow quads easier then white people averagely, but the prefered aesthetic doesn't require that much size from quads comparing to back
If the judges want to fetishize one body part the sport would be better off if they put all that emphasis on requiring a tight midsection with deep abdominal separation instead. It makes sense, the midsection ties everything together and if it’s off it has the potential to ruin any physique.
I don't understand why judges or people in the bodybuilding community will cherry pick with some guys over one bodypart being off. Ramy is a good example with his tricep. Then you got the new champ that has zero detail in the front of his whole body. Just wins purely off structure! Or his back.
Guy's guys,if they judge it the way it should be then there is no argument Andrew jack is the best X FRAME, in the Mr O , and if he comes in peeled with that shape, we should have a new Mr O , but like always politics,. Andrew for the WIN, u can't deny it you don't want to f,,k with me,,, 2pac, even said it
If it's judged by the written rules Hadi and Derek are the best if it's judged on some tall dudes opinion then Andrew should win but luckily y'all opinion carries little weight because y'all are such a small minority in the population.
End of the day bodybuilding is a business, If a average person sees a bodybuilder like Andrew who looks like a statue that attracts them into the sport or in general to the fitness industry.Thats the way to popularize the sport.
That won't work because he's too tall the average worldwide male height is 5'7 so people like Derek is a better representative. Mostly only tall dudes will like Andrew so the sport will lose fans.
@@anushrajapaksha5098 By Andrew win the Olympia will gain tall dude fan but lose short fans and tall dudes are such a small minority of the population so overall they will lose fans, what part you don't get?
@@granddaddyofthemall6320 tall dude fans what is this guy smoking 😆😆 the whole point is to get people into the industry and popularize the sport.Andrew’s physique is what a Mr Olympia looks like, that motivates people to get into the gym and workout , what does it have to be tall or short.

Classic physique should value shape over conditioning. Classic guys didn't have shredded ass cheeks. Push for modern conditioning is part of what makes them look less classic than they otherwise would and I don't think you just keep looking "better"as you get leaner and Leaner. The weight restriction is just a cheap way to hold back athletes and stop the judges from actually having to do the job they're paid for. If someone comes in too big for their frame the judges should be able to handle that by marking them down not by forcing them into a given weight . As it is now the tall guys just have too much of an advantage in size
They should end that policy that places extremely short guys well. Everybody knows it is easier to fill out such short frames, and that it is a far greater achievement to fill out a taller frame. They should also punish fake muscle, like what Hadi has in his shoulders and Andrew in his calves.
Andrew doesn’t have fake muscle in his calves lol. He had good calves before turning pro. They continue to grow just like every other muscle when bodybuilding
If you think shorter guy have it easy to build enough muscle to win contest you got it wrong its hard to get enough muscle to get the judges to look at you when you're 5'5'' and everybody else is 5'10 or 6 foot ask Danny Pedia or Lee Priest so get to the gym put some hevey weight on the bar and build a winning Physique no excuses
It is a beauty contest. Best looking body. It’s not a condition contest. A guy with terrible shape but shredded to the bone shouldn’t win. Olympia judging is too inconsistent. Derek has terrible conditioning from the front, yet he won the Olympia over guys who were way more conditioned. Derek doesn’t even have great shape.
Andrew can’t build up those forearms with those limp wrist curls 🤦🏻♂️. I understand that he has short forearm muscles 💪🏽 bellies (just like me). However, he can build them up with better arm curl form and hitting them directly. I picked up my forearm workouts from arm wrestlers.
@@colafarm1 They are as IMPORTANT as mass and Conditionning. With the same muscle mass and conditioning, proportion and symmetry are the deciding factors. Aesthetic counts. Guys with unpleasant shape like, Nick Walker, will never be M.O.
Bro what lol genetics play into everything. Even how thin your skin is. So your parents will always matter. You're just choosing conditioning over everything else.

@@granddaddyofthemall6320if a taller guy has better ratios because he's tall he shouldn't be discriminated against. Shorter guys look wider and bigger and can pack on more muscle usually should they be given more consideration then? Every height is gonna have a pro and con. If taller guys appear more aesthetic it is what it is. Shorter guys have always had the advantage in open hence why most BB are Shorter.
@@36louieboy I don't think tall dudes have better male proportions.
