The faces you were making….😂 Good job on being brave enough to jump that high bareback. I think Dee was more “spicy” bc she could feel how nervous you were. Also, the shrieking and shouting after the jump (although hilarious to us) definitely upsets horses/ponies even more. I’m also imagining that you had to clamp on with your legs over the jump to stay on (rightfully so) without the benefit of a saddle and stirrups, which just added on to Dee getting “hot” after landing the jump. But overall, still well done!
Oh Meg, your face looked just like it did when you were little in about 90% of this 😂😂😂 Well done for jumping as high as you did on a very very spicy Dee! Horses can feel how tense we are when we're bareback riding(better than usual because of our bums directly on their backs) and it makes them nervous(or "spicy")

I think why she’s jumping at the end like that is because you’re pulling on her face so much you need to slow her down more of a time and let her canter off a little bit after the jump. No hate though! ❤

It is so cute to see that he is with his ears forward the whole time, he is trying to play with you!!! It is sooo cute. And another thing, I know this video is old and prolly no one is going to see this, but when a horse starts bucking like that you shouldnt stop, you should keep cantering until they stop bucking. I know it is easier said than done of course, I also cant do it but its just a tip. You ride sooo well I love your videos, I dont watch RUclips but I only use it to watch your videos

That's what I was thinking. She goes into the jump so fast that she is having trouble slowing down in the amount of space at the other side and needs the reins to make the turn easier.
