My all time favourite tune from the Ridge Racer series. I loved playing Ridge Racer and Rave Racer in the arcades, as well as hammering the series almost none stop on the Playstation. Still emulate them to this day. 👍
chilhood memories all over the place! i was 1 of the first psx owners back in the day. i bought ridge racer with it, and when my friend came along to visit me to watch (and hear it, they're jaws dropped to floor when this song was played while racing.
when i was 4 years old, which would've been in 96, i got my ps1 for xmas. whenever i went to bed at night, when my older teenage sister had her friends over, she'd steal my ps1 out of my bedroom when she thought i hadn't noticed, take it downstairs, set it up to the family CRT in the living room and they'd all play it and, sometimes, just play the ost. i remember waking up to get a glass of water and seeing a group of like 10 teenagers all raving around my ps1 and being extremely confused. ahh, memories.
I have so much nostalgia around this piece of music (that organ sound is SO 90’s!) I was awful at Ridge Racer Revolution as a kid. Turns out I’m still awful at it as an adult!

Update the graphics on Ridge Racer Revolution, put a fresh coat of paint on the menus, but LEAVE THE MUSIC AS IT IS! Thats whats needed :)

That's crazy cuz this song wasn't in ridge racer, it was in ridge racer revolution And that game came out way after launch of the psx 🤔🤔🤔
