I had the V1 of this truck. Its no good on pavement. And when youre running in dirt, you have to throttle through turns, and if the rear tires stop spinning, you traction roll. It takes practice, but once you get real good at it, this truck is a ton of fun. Great vid man, as always.
I too removed that piece of foam from the battery hatch, however the latch seems to depend on having the pressure that the foam provides in order for the latch(slider) to stay in the closed position. Without that foam, the slider on the hatch slides easily to the open position. Or at least easy enough for me to think it would pop open on an odd landing or a hard tumble.
I just took Mine out for the first time got it the other day , this b rips I only hit it in the street can’t wait to rip it in the dirt my first scale way different beast
I noticed a lot that those Losi wheels wobble. I bought Losi tenacity wheels for my trophy truck and the first thing I noticed was how warped the rim was!
I run my v2 baja rey on buggy tracks, it has cost me some money in upgrades but fun is what matters. I can confirm this platform is more of a scaler considering it´s not for bashing and if you plan to race with it, you may need to remove some scale accesories and reinforce some lexan parts to deal with bad landings unless you run on gravel/dirt/low grass where it performs best. I moved to a 3200kv motor so it would be easier to take ramps. I hope I could have some videos in the future just need so me time to upload them.
When I was shopping for my SCT (got a mojave 4s) I was really considering the baja rey 2.0. Decided not to go with it for the reasons you gave and my lack of great running places. I feel like you need great dirt tracks / fields around to make this truck worth it over a more beastly truck like the mojave. Maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to have both like you haha. Looking forward to some driving content with it!
The Mojave 4s is definitely a great option when it comes to these trucks and I agree, you need the right conditions to get the full enjoyment out of some rcs but I have found that places you didn't think you had are there once you need them and it usually all works out! Keep enjoying your rigs and stay well bro! ✌️
Awesome video as always! Yes u got i right. The Spektrum 130A only has 6v BEC; u may want to dial the gearing for about 45mph; honestly this truck is so scale it gets really hard to drive at 50mph. This should be banned on pavements or roads!! Dirt only; u wanna ease off the throttle when turning and then pin it out of a turn other wise it’ll do the topple dance every time! U really need to reinforce the body coz its so flimsy bro; and tape the wheel wells so the tires dont eat the paint from inside! Now how do we find you a dirt/construction site ?? I got one right next to where I live….but i live in PAKISTAN!!! Come on over bro!!!! 😂❤
I'm on my way! 😂 Planning on hitting one of the tracks around here soon but yes, I quickly realized this truck has to be dri en like a real one. And I like that! Well see how it goes. Stay well brother 🙏

Thanks bro! Yeah I think they did some things with the suspension and stuff but yup, you gotta learn this thing. Ever get that stair lift? 😂
@@bigbristv not yet, the landlord says I have to be handicapped first 😂

Perhaps if you are using a shorter battery. Mines stuffed in there so no popping open over here 😅👍

Bro, she DIFFERENT 😶
And I LOVE IT! 👍
I got the V1 and love it, off road it's a beast, you get the suspension tuned right it's hard to beat
Yup, hoping to get there with this one. Thanks!

Yes, the wheels are wobbly. I'm thinking of the next set I want to get.

Thanks for this, it's helpful 🙂👍
I only run it on gravel /dirt as is. It's a must have for me with the scale play. It's quick and suspension is primo.
I just literally found that out! Stay tuned, it will be something...
Take a look at vitavon and the threedprint guy. ✌️
