Shack, in the old version of RAW, mygeeto generated up to 11k credits per week with max amount of mines and would often be the bulk of CIS income along side a few other planets. The asteroid mining building seems new but you always needed a barracks to build mines on the surface, that was just a part of the game. (So you might want to check the surface again now that you're building a barracks) I'd imagine its because if a planet gets attacked, being forced to build a barracks before mines guarantees you have some units to defend with if you have no garrisoned troops, instead of watching your mines get destroyed one by one.

Back with another tip, Kamino gets access to produce Clone Companies where every other world can produce platoons at best. I found it nice to mass produce a heap of clone companies and place them at Coruscant as a rally point and also in my planetary invasion fleets. Loving the series! P.S Any news about X3 Star wars?
It's a Star wars mod for the game X3 Albion Prelude which is ******* amazing lol. Shack did a short series and is likely to return to it when the new update comes out so you should watch a bit of his :-) And X3 itself? It's a sort of space/ sci fi/ sandbox game from a few years back. You couldn't tell its old material if you played it though, graphics are better then most games I see today. hey shack 4 things that I've found in my own campaign that might help one: the Arquitens is very tanky and deals a of damage only drawback it has no hangers but is a great unit until you get venators two: the mygeeto mine is actually a space mine similar to the casinos and provides a huge income three: the worlds up north are only accessible through the core worlds so once you take them all it will be hard to lose not to mention they are all worth a lot of credits and four: you need to at the beginning of the next ep pause and go throw every single planet and find every mine, refinery, and farm then build them, your economy is quite small, loving the series including you blunders, i hope some of this advice reaches you
Quick tip to save you and everyone else many a headache. If you take Felucia, you get immunity from weather effects. Using that and the Clone Commanders, which give you a massive sight bonus, you can wreck pretty much every battle with a handful of AT-PTs and your Commander.

Shack yoda and mace windu are stealth heros. Take Felucia to get no environment effects on troops. Do raids with your Jedi they are insanely op . Build a bunch of mine on Mygeeto on the ground and do the space mine to. Build peltas, centax and arquintens untill you get venators. Make sure to use Yularan in space.
Shack, by the way, after building the barracks at Mygeeto you just build it full of mines under [Land]. And then also build that Nova Space mine thingy under [Space].
I recommend focusing on construction of anti fighter support ships, they will tear up vultures and hyena bombers and protect your Venators, for example a Acclemator and both classes of Councilor ship’s they are the best at point defense against fighters.
Nice job in this episode. Mygeeto should provide some much-needed income to support the buildup of the fleet. In order to secur that area, you'll need to destroy that large enemy fleet over Ithor (don't forget to put the Jedi back in the space fleet), and then take Muunilinst. Once you've got the north secured, make Cato Nemoidia your next objective. It's a major CIS planet, and its location makes it a constant thorn in the side of the Core Worlds (almost all the fleets attacking Alderaan and Kuat are coming from there). Take Cato, and the only routes into the Core will be Corellia in the south, and Corulag and Carida in the northeast. You can set up defenses there and then push south with your main forces. Unfortunately, Yoda and company are probably stuck on Rodia for a while. You're not going to have enough to take on that enemy fleet over Tatooine until your main fleet is done up north.
Shack, on Ilum you can get Baris Offee, on Dantooine you can get Aayla Secura, on Yavin 4 you can get Shaak Ti and on Mon Calamari you can get Kit Fisto. Those are all the recruitable Jedi I have found so far.
I think if you shift left or right click on the abilities it can turn on or off the auto cast Indicated as on by the gold bordering, your Venator lasers are on, for example. For more control you can turn the auto cast on or off in case you want it used specifically.
mining facilities require a barracks in this mod. the CIS does not have unlimited spawns but they are damn close. without venators, a good fleet composition would be a combination of acclamators, centax frigates, and either dreadnaughts or arquitens. the corvettes aren't worth their population. the aat tanks have not been buffed so much as the saber tank missiles have been nerfed. I agree that the buzz droids are stupidly OP and throw off the balance of space battles singlehandedly, although the worst part of balance is that cis carriers carry almost more fighters than venators and lucrehulks launch 14 squadrons at a time :P. Trust me I know a lot about the mod, played it a lot, modified it myself to improve balancing. Loved the video, keep up the great work! :)
Seeing that invasion of Alderaan (both yours and theirs). Two quotes came to mind.. On Their invasion, when you couldn't find any turretslots. My thoughts went to Leia. "Alderaan is a peaceful planet, we have no weapons" And on yours, Count Dooku "Good, double the arrogance, twice the fall" :)
Well I think it might've gotten changed. I remember dreadnaughts came in at level 2 stations and above (one dreadnaught for lvl 2, 2 for a lvl 3, 4 and 5 would bring in heavier ships like venators with those dreadnaughts), but the garrison also brings a lot of changes, and I don't think that was ever affected by tech trees.
see, this is why shack needs to actually BUILD UP HIS GROUND FORCES on his planets! He wouldn't have lost alderaan if he had built more tanks and garrisoned up the worlds, instead of just building star ships. there's more to this game than simply space combat, and as a former air force member, you should know that you still need troops on the ground to hold the ground you win in the air.
[Advice] Shack, Your Jedi are literally invincible against infantry and most armor, 2-4 Jedi can take a planet on they own , use them in raids, its very helpful
At the end you said you might get Barriss Offee, but she bombed the jedi temple and framed Ahsoka so it might not be in the interest of the Republic. Love this series btw, keep scapping those clankers
Yes, but not this early in the war. It only started 19 days ago. Palpatine needs the Jedi to nearly win so that they are spread thin enough to be 66ed effectively.
this episode was filled with clone wars moments. Bob Jim and George surrounded by enemy forces while waiting for reinforcements, a small fleet of corvettes and frigates ambushed by separatist forces heroically defending the planet of correllia and a republic fleet trying to stop a retreating separatist cruiser.

Great episodes! Thank you! But as a pice of tactical advice, use the ARCs you get you target hangars on all ships first before letting your force take down carriers.
They have comparable firepower, but they can't take as many hits I think. Plus, the venator shines as a republilc carrier, as it can pump out waves of fighters. The Arquitens do have a shield overcharge though, so maybe think of using them as a heavy hitting front liner to mix with your peltas and their weapons power ability?
Good call with the fighters I'll have to try that in my game. The space station upgrade stays as long as the station survives. The reinforcements only calls in the last level of ships you bought. So if you buy the tier 2 next time you fight there you start with the tier 2 reinforcements but don't get the tier one again. Also arquentins pack a punch I have mixed in with my venators.
Now that you have Delta squad, do commando raids with delta squad and a Jedi(hopefully one with force to deal with the flak guns, if you don’t know which Jedi there is Mace Windu, Obi-wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Aayla Secura are the only ones with force crush that I know of) and be EXTREMELY careful about flak guns, they will tear delta squad to bits, and even if Delta squad loses a squad member but is not fully destroyed sadly don’t get that squad member back, unless all members are killed which is recommended(if you lose a couple commandos just send them on a suicide mission to a Separtist planet to get rid of them and have them fully regenerate their squad, cruel but necessary.) And in a commando raid always send Jedi ahead to deal with flak guns. Trust me this intel came from personal experience and trial and error. This is a gift from a lot of hard work and pain I had to go through.
Firing arcs are a thing in Star Wars: Empire at War, at least in most good mods, had 2 station spawned Nebulons kill an ISD because all the guns it had left were on the other side in AOTR 2.6.
Something to be aware of is that when you get Delta squad they are persistent such that if you lose one of the team, that loss is permanent as far as I can tell. I lost Scorch during an invasion and had to restart my entire campaign because he was gone for good. Not even sorry.
Shack, just sell everything on Coruscant minus a Research Facility if you have one, and build nothing but Mining Facilities. You'll be loaded in no time. Use the other surrounding worlds to bolster your forces instead on the ground.
Shack, Yoda should be a stealth unit so can move him by himself from planet to planet. You should have him team up with Delta Squad and a whole lot of ark troopers. Which would be a perfect raiding party.
[Important] Dang it Shack XD Yoda is a Stealth Hero! all Jedi are and are immune against infantry and light armor, only heavy weaponry can harm them, Hope you see this, and jeez, BUILDING structure on your planets, I see some of them with just the barracks, Use your planets to their fullest, you need it
35:25 that fleet really reminds me of the rebels. just a small group of ships, none of which are capital or really designed for long slogs in combat yet its all he's got to fight the CIS
Shack, if you add in the farms and refineries across all your worlds and add in the space casino and the gem mine at Mygeeto, you should be able to bring in about 15 to 16k per day in the game. don't overlook adding in the farms they do add to your income quite nicely.
58:45 your talking about the melevolance episodes... the ship had 2 giant ion cannons. Fun fact.. the melevolance is as big as a resergence battlecruiser from the latest movies.
You should build a ton of those ships with the anti missile field on them and have them hug your capital ships. You wont have to worry about their bombers anymore. They seem to be pretty good at killing fighters too.
The Republic Fleet needs more Centax-class Frigates! They are able to make Droid bombers obsolete with their jamming fields, greatly reducing our casualties. Use the credits from Mygeeto to invest in a Centax-class support fleet for our few Venators.
Shack please for the love of God notice your Aclimator ship with it's sheild boost ability is your early and I believe late even game tanking ship you get. And the pelta is supposed to be behind it to use it's boost wepon ability. Also. Your two small crusiers (the white and red one) the white ones good for small ships like fighters and the red one is good for taking out bigger ships by using it's missile barrage.
As tip, the republic should use carrack cruisers + either dreadnought, centax, or Arquitens cruiser (or pelta... but pelta is really early tier). They've got no reason to use alcamators and they'll need carracks to compete with better droid strikecraft logistics.
A Republic force lead by Heroic Jedi drove the vile Separatists from the world Mygeeto. Immediately the Republic began plans to exploi- er, liberate as many resources as possible to continue putting pressure on CIS forces.
First every Planet me a clone barracks before you can build mines or anything else on the planet and the second thing is Yoda is still a stealth unit so you can move him by his self Here We Go pass any enemy planet without being trigger into battle
Shack I feel like you should go to the top left and take out anything up there and then bring basically all your forces to the core hold it down by building up defense fleets on the outer planets of the core so that's locked down and basically just go out from there with a main attack fleet to just pop stuff and then a ground invasion force behind it to take the planets
You must keep a well defended fleet on Abregado-rae because you can launch a fleet from there to Fresia. It happened last time in your 69 episode Republic at War Campaign.
In my opinion Jedi should get a battle meditation ability. This basically means that they go in trance and coordinate the entire battle from a position in the flagship, causing chaos and panic among enemy pilots while vastly improving the skills and overall awareness of allied fighters and also keeping them calm. Since empire of war doesn´t have a leadership/morale system though it would only be a temporary buff to overall battle efficiency for fighters and small corvettes.
Here’s a tip for new players of the game. Make multiple ship fleets don’t just make one. Trust I learned the hard way and still am. I will never learn my lesson. Oh and always upgrade your tech and buildings. It’s goes along way.

enjoying the series so far. The only thing I would point about about your current game is you haven't been utilizing palpatine's 25% discount to everything. I think you have been potentially using a lot more money then necessary. Kuat is an important shipyard for tier 4 or 5 but corcuscant is already a tier 5 station and has presently palpatine giving the discount.

Your biggest mistake IMHO was trying to prematurely tech up instead of boosting your anti-fighter ships. The AI loves fighters and once you have a powerful anti-fighter force you can manage to get a good head start
They created a precedent in Ep5 chasing the falcon for a big portion of the movie. Except the falcon had more interesting people on board than a 5000 person capitol ship of the rebels
You get to keep the reinforcements. But only the most recently bought upgrade on that planet. So say u buy level 3 reinforcements u don't get level 1 or 2 in the next battle.
Your fighters when you held them back still took like 25% losses even when you didn't send them to the front. In my opinion, its better to lose the expendable fighters instead of the valuable capital ships.
Shack, You should use Dreadnaughts. They are pretty damn good in groups. Just don't send them against Lucherhulks. I tried that earlier, I do not recommend it
Oh, and the missle corvettes you have can be used as artillery. I realized how good they were in Skirmish when they were taking out Recuscant destroyer hard points in one or two hits
I recently played a skirmish match where I only built those red corvettes, that strategy is so stupid that it has to work, not even Recusant, Providence and Lucrehulks didn't stand a chance
It's cause they also have anti fighter but use missiles too. That's good early game strats. Just a tip, when they start throwing large amounts of lucrehulks at you, get a LOT of anti-fighter. Else the fighters alone kill ya
In my play through I have began to purge the outer rim from separatists with my grand fleet while I have 3 other smaller fleets 1 defends kamino, 1 corrasont, and the last one goes around re-capturing planets that were captured by separatists

Taking one ship loss in the chance of winning to save the space station build would of been worth it.
It was NOT dumb, the computer would have taken the frigate and carrier into mind, and obviously in regular scenarios THEY would have won.

The mines got more expensive though, so maybe he should do a check at the beginning and ending of every episode because of his limited cash

Bob Jim and George surrounded by enemy forces while waiting for reinforcements, a small fleet of corvettes and frigates ambushed by separatist forces heroically defending the planet of correllia and a republic fleet trying to stop a retreating separatist cruiser.

They have comparable firepower, but they can't take as many hits I think. Plus, the venator shines as a republilc carrier, as it can pump out waves of fighters. The Arquitens do have a shield overcharge though, so maybe think of using them as a heavy hitting front liner to mix with your peltas and their weapons power ability?
Good call with the fighters I'll have to try that in my game. The space station upgrade stays as long as the station survives. The reinforcements only calls in the last level of ships you bought. So if you buy the tier 2 next time you fight there you start with the tier 2 reinforcements but don't get the tier one again. Also arquentins pack a punch I have mixed in with my venators.
Now that you have Delta squad, do commando raids with delta squad and a Jedi(hopefully one with force to deal with the flak guns, if you don’t know which Jedi there is Mace Windu, Obi-wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Aayla Secura are the only ones with force crush that I know of) and be EXTREMELY careful about flak guns, they will tear delta squad to bits, and even if Delta squad loses a squad member but is not fully destroyed sadly don’t get that squad member back, unless all members are killed which is recommended(if you lose a couple commandos just send them on a suicide mission to a Separtist planet to get rid of them and have them fully regenerate their squad, cruel but necessary.) And in a commando raid always send Jedi ahead to deal with flak guns.
Trust me this intel came from personal experience and trial and error. This is a gift from a lot of hard work and pain I had to go through.
Firing arcs are a thing in Star Wars: Empire at War, at least in most good mods, had 2 station spawned Nebulons kill an ISD because all the guns it had left were on the other side in AOTR 2.6.

Something to be aware of is that when you get Delta squad they are persistent such that if you lose one of the team, that loss is permanent as far as I can tell. I lost Scorch during an invasion and had to restart my entire campaign because he was gone for good. Not even sorry.
Shack, just sell everything on Coruscant minus a Research Facility if you have one, and build nothing but Mining Facilities. You'll be loaded in no time. Use the other surrounding worlds to bolster your forces instead on the ground.
Shack, Yoda should be a stealth unit so can move him by himself from planet to planet. You should have him team up with Delta Squad and a whole lot of ark troopers. Which would be a perfect raiding party.

Shack, if you add in the farms and refineries across all your worlds and add in the space casino and the gem mine at Mygeeto, you should be able to bring in about 15 to 16k per day in the game. don't overlook adding in the farms they do add to your income quite nicely.
58:45 your talking about the melevolance episodes... the ship had 2 giant ion cannons. Fun fact.. the melevolance is as big as a resergence battlecruiser from the latest movies.
You should build a ton of those ships with the anti missile field on them and have them hug your capital ships. You wont have to worry about their bombers anymore. They seem to be pretty good at killing fighters too.
The Republic Fleet needs more Centax-class Frigates! They are able to make Droid bombers obsolete with their jamming fields, greatly reducing our casualties. Use the credits from Mygeeto to invest in a Centax-class support fleet for our few Venators.

Shack please for the love of God notice your Aclimator ship with it's sheild boost ability is your early and I believe late even game tanking ship you get. And the pelta is supposed to be behind it to use it's boost wepon ability. Also. Your two small crusiers (the white and red one) the white ones good for small ships like fighters and the red one is good for taking out bigger ships by using it's missile barrage.

As often as you hold planets with tiny forces, I think your theme should be Resist and Bite by Sabaton.
use missile jamming fields to protect acclamators and other ships that bring in fighters. that will help you greatly in defending space stations too.
Centax frigstes are amazing for taking out hardpoints! USE THEM
As tip, the republic should use carrack cruisers + either dreadnought, centax, or Arquitens cruiser (or pelta... but pelta is really early tier). They've got no reason to use alcamators and they'll need carracks to compete with better droid strikecraft logistics.

First every Planet me a clone barracks before you can build mines or anything else on the planet and the second thing is Yoda is still a stealth unit so you can move him by his self Here We Go pass any enemy planet without being trigger into battle

Shack yoda and Mace are stealth units which means you can just seperate them from the main ground force and move them north
Shack I feel like you should go to the top left and take out anything up there and then bring basically all your forces to the core hold it down by building up defense fleets on the outer planets of the core so that's locked down and basically just go out from there with a main attack fleet to just pop stuff and then a ground invasion force behind it to take the planets

You must keep a well defended fleet on Abregado-rae because you can launch a fleet from there to Fresia. It happened last time in your 69 episode Republic at War Campaign.

In my opinion Jedi should get a battle meditation ability. This basically means that they go in trance and coordinate the entire battle from a position in the flagship, causing chaos and panic among enemy pilots while vastly improving the skills and overall awareness of allied fighters and also keeping them calm. Since empire of war doesn´t have a leadership/morale system though it would only be a temporary buff to overall battle efficiency for fighters and small corvettes.
That´s something I mostly would expect really high-ranking masters and council members like Yoda and Mace Windu to have.
Here’s a tip for new players of the game. Make multiple ship fleets don’t just make one. Trust I learned the hard way and still am. I will never learn my lesson. Oh and always upgrade your tech and buildings. It’s goes along way.
Shack your jedi are best in space when they have fighters supporting them like in Episode 3 Coruscant opening space battle
Shack please use Admiral Yularen in your primary fleet. It makes sense and gives you a tactical edge over most CIS ships.

enjoying the series so far. The only thing I would point about about your current game is you haven't been utilizing palpatine's 25% discount to everything. I think you have been potentially using a lot more money then necessary. Kuat is an important shipyard for tier 4 or 5 but corcuscant is already a tier 5 station and has presently palpatine giving the discount.

Your biggest mistake IMHO was trying to prematurely tech up instead of boosting your anti-fighter ships. The AI loves fighters and once you have a powerful anti-fighter force you can manage to get a good head start
They created a precedent in Ep5 chasing the falcon for a big portion of the movie. Except the falcon had more interesting people on board than a 5000 person capitol ship of the rebels

Shack. You should use delta squad in space. If I remember correctly, they come with a capital ship when you put them in space.

I also think you should fortify Mon Calamari because you can produce capital ships there too.
You get to keep the reinforcements. But only the most recently bought upgrade on that planet. So say u buy level 3 reinforcements u don't get level 1 or 2 in the next battle.

Your fighters when you held them back still took like 25% losses even when you didn't send them to the front. In my opinion, its better to lose the expendable fighters instead of the valuable capital ships.

I have been playing as the CIS and the Republic spams dreadnoughts. Had to fight off 11 of them in one battle.
Shack, You should use Dreadnaughts. They are pretty damn good in groups. Just don't send them against Lucherhulks. I tried that earlier, I do not recommend it
Oh, and the missle corvettes you have can be used as artillery. I realized how good they were in Skirmish when they were taking out Recuscant destroyer hard points in one or two hits
I recently played a skirmish match where I only built those red corvettes, that strategy is so stupid that it has to work, not even Recusant, Providence and Lucrehulks didn't stand a chance

It's cause they also have anti fighter but use missiles too. That's good early game strats. Just a tip, when they start throwing large amounts of lucrehulks at you, get a LOT of anti-fighter. Else the fighters alone kill ya

In my play through I have began to purge the outer rim from separatists with my grand fleet while I have 3 other smaller fleets 1 defends kamino, 1 corrasont, and the last one goes around re-capturing planets that were captured by separatists
Shack, try making arquintens because now they're pretty good with their concussion missiles, turbo lasers and their shield ability.
