Condensing this 3 hour experience into a 10 min video was such a fun challenge. What a magical meal! I'm still starstruck from meeting Chef Virgilio Martinez.
Chef Virgilio Martinez's Central is one of the best restaurants in the entire world.
Central's tasting menu is structured to celebrate and highlight different levels of elevation in Peru, from the Andes mountains to the Amazon rainforest. All of the ingredients are native to Peru.

Hi Serena! I believe we did MENU CREATIVIDAD MUNDO PEN 785 per person
A new journey, the journey of the day. 14 heights.
We also added on drink pairings, I'm honestly not sure which one we did.

No doubt, Central is a foodie experience! However, not everyone can agree that the dishes place it #4 in the world! I think it's a lot of hype. Maybe next they will offer a menu consisting of the 120 varieties of potatos they discovered & charge $500!

I have no idea how they rank these restaurants! I would LOVE a potato themed menu. Either way, I thought it was so cool how the meals are geared towards showcasing ingredients that are native to Peru. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching!
