This is high level grappling, no room for errors, it's a lot more technical, from my professors they say it's a lot like chess. If u really enjoy watching bjj, you'd stick to the end and try to improve from this or see what they did wrong.

Assistindo a aula deles, percebi que nunca tinha visto uma luta dessa arte marcial e vim procurar. Que bacana!! É bem diferente do Muay Thai. Eu sei que parece óbvio mas pensava que todas as lutas eram lutas, (de socos e chures) rsrs, mas percebi que todas as lutas tem suas próprias regras e seu próprio jeito. Bem legal!

Infelizmente as paralisações sempre desfavorecem quem tava numa posição de vantagem, dá pra ver que aos 3:33, a mão direita do Buchecha ta embaixo da parte de trás do joelho do Meregali, ai quando volta pro meio aos 4:04 ,a mão do Buchecha ja ta na calça do Meregali, dominando totalmente o quadril, e com o seu próprio quadril totalmente relaxado, só pra bater o joelho e raspar o Meregali, final e semi-final pelo menos tem que rever essas paradas pra voltar pro meio, porque sempre acontece injustiças.
Meregalli tava mais na transversal antes da paralização. O joelho tava mais em cima de Buchecha e logo no recomeço o joelho tava praticamente no tatame e Buchecha muito mais de lado.
Ruy José o kimono é medido sempre antes de cada luta. Ainda acho que o Buchecha foi beneficiado porque a luta não voltou na mesma posição após a paralisação.

Bs, that reset made the guy in white lose his momentum. He was spinning the blue guys while the blue guy was trying to defend. When the reset happened they both started at neutral, and the white girl guy was easily bounced off. Because the blue gi guys got to start with out the pressure.
I just started bjj this week and am having a blast. I understand much more now and still so so so much to learn but when I watch fights on the ground I appreciate the techniques they use much more now and this match was super interesting and pretty exciting for me but idk what do I know I’m just a freshly new white belt. For now ;)

Today I took my first BJJ class. I learned a lot of people could easily just break my arms and choke me out NO PROBLEM. Humbling experience. So fun. Everyone is so friendly. So respectful. Highly recommend.

Sometimes athletes use traditional bands of judo, which are theoretically more beautiful, and have no color at the tip, are totally black. But the Brazilian federation of jiu jitsu does not allow bands without a colored tip, so they put a white tip. Can be it.
