Just heard "Hush" yesterday in Berlin. What a wonderful piece of music. Fascinating in its different colors and moods.

The first person who spoke to me about Simone Weil was Klaus Huber (nearly 30 years ago), who was also Saariaho's teacher at a certain point. I wonder if these two marvelous composers ever discussed Weil's thought...

P.S.- love her Finnish accent; partly because she sounds as my mother and my aunts!
