We Love ours . IT didnt break our Bank . We tow Two motorcyles . A Ducati Multistrada And a Honda rebel 300 . Yes we encountered problems “ its a material thing “ It’s fixable . We are all over the state with our “ Baby Bertha “ .
We just picked up one of these in a close out on their 2022 model. We’re planning on using it for motorcycle track days, and get away camping. It’s perfect for a comfortable place to stay while camping at a track paddock….
I'm not an experienced camper, but I'd imagine the fire roads would be taking out the under carriage plumbing and features. The feature that would throw this model to the top would be a motorized bed in the back.
My wife & I just ordered a 2022 Forest River Salem FSX 210RTX Platinum Package which is pretty much the same layout as the Grey Wolf 22RR. It was a tossup between the two but my final decision was the Salem FSX 210RTX. This is our first time owning a RV and looking forward to enjoying this RV. I like the fact that we can bring our motorcycles to travel around the U.S. We are very excited. Also, thank you for the educational videos, us being first time RV owners we a learning a lot.
Really like this Uncle Josh, had never considered a toy hauler before but the Doc says some time in the future I will need a electric mobility device to get around with. They make some killer electric "off road type" ones now with great range, wheel height for rougher areas. This would be a perfect fit for a camper and the ability to have a E.M.D. so I can still do the things I want to do. Plus a perfect area for all the solar equipment to be off the grid, small work bench with tools, extra water, portable inverter/gen. The Gray Wolfs are really impressing me!
:) TY scott!! And about the horse... I wouldn't recommend it Although one time we did have someone bring in a living quarter horse trailer they wanted us to buy outright. That morning their brother had used it to haul hogs & didn't clean it out. That included the living area... where he *also* loaded hogs for transport... and didn't clean out
Love this layout, but I don't see where anyone makes a good 3 seasons room to add to the ramp patio. Someone needs to and take that deck to the next level.
Maybe a toy hauler is what I need to look at to get a no nonsense interior layout and elbow room for a travel trailer. Not a fan of the black interior, but I like the usability of the inside. The rear deck/awning configuration makes for a good enjoyable camp setup. I like the outside color treatment. I would add the color band across the back of the trailer and incorporate it into the front. That could be a dealer added item on on hand inventory.
Try this one m.ruclips.net/video/1w6pCO2I5OY/видео.html Barely over 24ft tip to tail total Wildwood does a similar thing here: m.ruclips.net/video/1a-n1_VDwBo/видео.html
Awesome if you have something to haul, but if you don’t, I would definitely bypass this and buy trailer with a conventional living area and a far more comfortable traditional sofa and/or theater seating?
You win the $5 dollars because as soon as you asked what would go in that pantry, I said "the hootch". LOL!! The only big thing I can see that could be better would be a bigger awning on it. There's lots of room to extend it backwards, I think. I do love the elevated patio where you could sit at night and watch the trash pandas rummage around. Quite entertaining for us less sophisticated folk...aka hillbilly's. LOL!
@@JoshtheRVNerd I am going to hold onto it until I come buy a camper...then I will buy you a barley pop that we get from dad's medicine cabinet. Two great things I have learned from your videos. Not all of the education is about campers. LOL! 😂🤣
Great floor plan. Plenty of room for 2. Looks nice BUT they use short staples so the side of pantry coming off. Finding screws not all the way in or crooked. The web net in the back garage not installed right so it broke off both sides. Was so excited to haul our bike in it, the cheep d rings are screwd in with small screws just into the thin flooring. We will have to replace with Heavy duty rings and put it through metal. Very disappointed of the carelessness of manufacturing as these cost so much. After we fix things this will be an awesome toy.
I wish they would hold trailer sales people responsible for any accidents they caused by selling people trailers that are unsafe to be tow with the vehicle they recommend. There is no way in any reality that that hitch is only going to weigh 686lbs, that never is based off of dry weight. You are going to be closer to 1000lbs once the trailer is loaded. Which means that's a thousand pounds less payload that you have on your tow vehicle. I really think people that sell travel trailers should be experts in what they are selling in their capability of what vehicle is being towed with it because it should be their responsibility to make sure that the owner of that travel trailer is going to be safe on the road. Basically once you have a family of four inside your truck, you will not be able to put anything in the bed of your truck, And that's only if your payload is actually closer to 1,600 to 1,800 lbs. If it is less than that, I hope you like driving by your self camping with that new travel trailer.
Really a 1/2 ton "can you pull it safely" in the title , when I'm out after working my life now retirement land the last thing I need is a un safely person near me on the highway
It’s half ton towable, but probably not at all half ton trim levels. My f150 Platinum suffers from low payload capacity, which really limits me to about a 6200 lb GVWR camper.
Soap Josh soap. Lol. Windows that don't open are, almost, useless. Ask me how I know. Why oh why do I always have to fix the bathroom door, ugh. Vent fan people. If this is the blackout package, I'd probably like the other better. Hagd Josh.
@Zachary Gittle some are happy with theirs I understand. I've worked in the rv industry for over 10 years. It's better to accept them than nit pick them. My comment just refers to initial quality and fit and finish plus longevity

Couple = 2 motorcycles for us. It's the wave of the future. More ladies riding their own bike.

You did well. That 210 is on a level playing field for sure. Enjoy!!
I love this layout! Especially the garage area!
Me too!

Yeah mobility solutions are becoming far more varied than the old fashioned hoverround
Really like this. Looked at a beat up on today to get a feel. New pricing is all over the place.
As always you did a great video! Really interested in this series of toy hauler. Thank you, hope you and your family are doing well.
Thanks, you too!
Wildwood has a similar offering coming
Jayco does a decent version seen here: ruclips.net/video/78SMZ4Gh6GU/видео.html
Hey Josh! Can I transport my HORSE in there???? Hahaha! Just kidding! Thanks for another great and informative video!!!!

I "had" me a motorcycle. Sold it to buy a travel trailer. Thanks Uncle Josh!
Great! Now you can sell the travel trailer to buy a motorcycle which you can sell to get a toy hauler so you can get a motorcycle! 😆
I used to own a 24 ft Weekend Warrior - loved it. Grey Wolf makes a nice unit. Thanks for sharing Josh.

A tent
Does it have a heater ?
Absolutely
Are there any of these available in Florida
We have multiple locations but none in that beautiful state quiet yet. Hopefully we have one for you in the future

Ooh I like that color band idea
I love the black accents, as well as it being transformative.
Does anyone do this under 25ft total length?

Oh sure. Definitely not for someone who isn’t looking to haul some bigger stuff
nice camper.
You could put a heck ton of bunks back there.
standard model only, it's more practical... plus "less expensive" ;^D never hurts
Good job again. I'm a full day behind so any Comment may be late. Thanks.
Never too late :)

No videos showing it with a rzr loaded, can this haul a side by side?
These smaller class "Crossover" toy haulers aren't always made with sxs's in mind. usually their lower ceiling height prevents loading vs. roll cages
Mine fits
How heavy is the ramp/deck door?
I don’t have a weight measurement but I will tell you with the patio gates ON the ramp it’s fairly heavy
My chicken arms can manage it but it’s work
What is the price of one of these more or less ?
Mid 20's-ish?
Our folks at 800-256-5196 can get you something more specific if you'd like any time :)
Would a golf cart fit?
There’s enough width. It would depend on the height vs the entry door
