Chidi is a really subtle but resonate actor. The technique and amount of emotion in his character Ray's eyes as he watched Gift at various places that she worked so hard to take care of her family should be studied and imitated in theater arts classes. God bless people with such amazing character. This young lady's name Gift was truly befitting. Anyone passing through the trauma and hardship this young lady had needed an amazing and kind friend like Ray. Chidi interpreted the character Ray like a king. Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown. This was a much needed story and in a way symbolic of a tale of two cities and the stark contrast of London and France. Gift a poor, hardworking, young lady so loving and dedicated to her family was a representation of the rampant poverty and hard knocks in Paris. Ray a good, kindhearted, and compassionate young man with a privileged upbringing was a representation of a safe haven and more stable existence in London. The way Mrs. Ruth thinks about literary thread and direction is to be applauded. She is extremely detailed. Every second and scene gets better like a build up to some type of reveal, lesson, or greater good and for this she should be commended. "Home Is You" is a masterpiece. Thank you Mrs. Ruth. Wow Ray is really good to Gift, it's good to be compassionate in life and empathetic as this helps us to be better humans. Ray learnt this well and his life is richer for it. His sister almost lost her way following Sharon. Gift is truly a gift to those she meets, instead of being wicked she helped a fellow girl stranded and out of her period mess. Love it. Chidi did so well in "Home is You" His character Ray was so kind to Gift. I would like to see more of Chidi and Cynthia . If the story had not had so many layers to it like: showing kindness, integrity, dignity in labor and hard work, honoring our parents and helping our fellow man in need it would have been a nice love story featuring students. That teacher was so mean but that is life for you. People will not always be tapped or tuned into our problems, not even educators that u should expect to have foresight, wisdom, and above all perceptive skills. The Bible says and a child shall lead them. It was unfortunate that Ray had to remind his teacher that Gift was one of the best students so if all of a sudden she appears to be slacking off then something is bound to be wrong. Students should be able expect more from their teachers. HIY get's an A+🍎
