Cleaning ladies kandaal vazhakum parayinond I bought a 2 liter water bottle and I used to take drinking water in that and pour it to my bucket..Angana 2/3 times cheyum..Veetil pole lavish ayi hair wash onum nadakilla adond😌
When I went to hostel I didn't purchase everything at one go. It was during pre covid times.My home was far away from my college and hostel. So only afer I got admission in the college I bought basic things like bed, bedsheets,bucket, plate,glass etc Then I bought remaining things slowly when I got free time after the class got over. I would purchase remaining things in the evenings or during weekends. I remember once I purchased some things like kettle, flask, pillow, plug sockets,iron box etc during weekends. When I returned to my room in the hostel one of my hostelites as well as classmate was surprised by seeing me purchasing new kettle and other things. She asked me in sarcastic tone whether I am going to stay permanently in the hostel. Over the next year she and her friends would borrow kettle from me as she need to use hot water for reducing back pain. I think at that time she might have understood kettle is also necessity and not a useless luxurious thing. In hostels I had always observed that girls have tendency to form their exclusive groups and judge others based on their sense of right or wrong. Judging could be based on things one possess or not possess, wearing traditional or modern dress, going or not going to home on weekends, travelling by sleeper or ac train,talking more or less, religious or modern, studying more or studying less, laughing more or laughing less, having less friends or no friends etc . If roommates are somewhat understanding then one can have lot of happy memories to cherish forever. But if there is less understanding roomates ( if a person want to talk loudly or listen to music at loud voice but roommate prefers less noise in order to get concentration in work/assignment/internal then it can cause friction between them) If there is no roommate one would long for company of people. But while thinking about the possibility of non adjusting roommate then one start to love solitude.
